I am
Really unsure on who to vote for, I haven't followed it much with being so ill.

Which party is best for disability?

All this scaremongering that they will stop benefits, stop DLA, PIP, LCWRA etc. I honestly cannot afford to live now let alone id they cut everything.

Well the Cons are letting you know what their plans regarding disabled people are. They do not sound particularly caring to me. They have presided over the shambles that is PIP.

The election is over now. I voted Labour. At 3 am a disabled friend of mine phoned me up to sing 'things can only get better'? Why, because Labour are here. I asked him had he actually read the disability manifesto. In short, if you voted Labour, they were the better party compared to the Tories for benefits. In future, the best party of all may be Reform, because they will offer protection for the most severe disabilities without fear of reassessment. I imagine though the number who are the most severe disabilities will be small.
Tories - everyone is going back to work
Labour - if you can work you should work
Reform - if you are found fit to work, you must take a job offer or your benefits will be stopped in 4 months. If you are severely disabled, you will be exempt from reassessment.

Other threats are coming too; where I live, there is a rise of Islamic parties who are part of Galloway's party, and who intimidated the opposition at this election, even slashing their tyres. This will likely make me vote Reform in 2029

My advice for now will be just wait. Labour needs to get the employment support services set up, clear the NHS backlog, whilst PIP has a time period for the award, LCWRA has a huge backlog of people needing work capability assessments going back as far as covid times. But do have a think about what job you might be able to do; I am being optimistic here, but even if you can work for 2 hours a day from home. Its something. Don't wait for the job centre to throw you into a job at a DIY store for minimum wage, if you have skills you could market in another area.
