Politically homeless - who to vote for/campaign for?

For the first time in my life, I am politically homeless (previously I was a Labour supporter), and I would like to be politically active again, but I don't really know what avenue to pursue. My priorities are (in a rough order of importance to me): 1. The environment (particularly action on climate change) 2. Electoral reform 3. Women's issues (everything from the gender pay gap, to health inequality, how women bore the brunt of Covid etc) 4. Child poverty. I do think we need quite drastic societal change, both to address inequalities and climate change, but I don't feel Labour offers that atm, I've been so disappointed in them recently. I'm probably a more natural Green voter now, but without electoral reform that seems to be a wasted vote, and the only way I can see that we make any progress on the issues important to me with a FPTP system is by ousting the Tories. Is getting involved in some sort of campaign for electoral reform a better idea, and if so, how? I feel a real urge to do something, but having been quite politically active for the last 20 years or so, I feel a bit lost now. Anyone else feeling similar?

You could join Make Votes Matter, because until the system is completely reformed, it matters little who you vote for.

22 million votes wasted at the last GE.

I'm with you OP!

Fallen totally out of love with the Labour Party who, along with the media, seem to have scapegoated all their socialists. Love Zara Sultana though, only 28 years old and speaks so much sense on women's issues and appears to be a genuine and caring socialist. Read her tweets, she's brilliant!

I voted green in the council elections as a bit of a protest vote, but agree in a general election, without PR, Labour are grudgingly probably the only option for me in a FPTP system.

I'd quite like the party to split and I think it would be surprising how many new voters would vote for a genuine socialist party.
