More on Trump

It is a Trump world and as the Modi saying goes

“Aab Ki Baar Trump Sarkar”

and as the Stump for Trump Sisters say

"Get on the Trump Train or get the hell out of the way"

Rock'n'roll

Hope you like salt on those chips

claig · 19/12/2016 15:51

David Icke is not a Trump fan. He obviously didn't like Hillary for all teh reasons anyone didn't, but he thinks Trump is just the same, is part of the system and that there is no escape from the elites apart from some nirvana type consciousness experiment where we all realise that "we are one" etc.

I disagree with him. I am an optimist and Icke is essentially a pessimist, I think. I think the world and nature and God works to help people and that the Trump Revolution is a change for the better.

I think that the people will win in the end

Just a thought indeed Misss. I'm always open to thoughts. Even bonkers ones!

Hahaha you are a one... salt with the chips, keep the jokes coming, they amuse me even without the cocktails! Grin

claig · 19/12/2016 15:55

Great news Missswatch, it keeps getting better.

I think there is a reason why 2016 has been the year of populist revolutions and it is due to the combined consciousness of the people who know about the elite crooks and didn't believe servants like Blair or Establishment favourites like Sir Bob.

Trump came along just in time and Davos and the Financial Times and the Economist and the EU and servants like Blair are struggling to understand what happened and why because they don't understand the people and look down on the people.

Were you drinking salted caramel cocktails? I just recovered from my hangover today

DeepanKrispanEven · 19/12/2016 16:05

So in your book, claig, Trump is right to put posing with Kanye West ahead of explaining what the hell he means about the elite?

And you seem to have gone very quiet about the increasing evidence that those he is appointing to his administration are clearly the elite par excellence.

DeepanKrispanEven · 19/12/2016 16:06

Sure, claig, as one of "the people" I know about elite crooks, and there seems to be a nice little gathering of them around the future Trump White House, invited there by the putative future incumbent.

George Soros Is Funding Facebook's "Third-Party Fact Checking" Organization Targeting "Fake News"

"Behind almost every liberal crusade of the past several decades, from the blocking of voter ID laws to the Syrian refugee crisis, there has been one man quietly pulling the puppet strings from the background: George Soros. So imagine our complete shock when we discovered Soros to be the financing source behind Facebook's "third-party fact checking" organization retained to flag, and thus eliminate, "fake news."

claig · 19/12/2016 16:15

'So in your book, claig, Trump is right to put posing with Kanye West ahead of explaining what the hell he means about the elite?'

Of course because most people won't understand what the elites are and what bad things they do. They believe the BBC. All that matters is that Trump is onto them and will sort them out. In teh meantime, Kanye can entertain the people.

'And you seem to have gone very quiet about the increasing evidence that those he is appointing to his administration are clearly the elite par excellence.'

I have said that most of them were supporters of anyone but Trump, they supported Establishmentarians like Jeb Bush or puppet Rubio. That is how the world works. Blair is a "servant extraordinaire". That is the system and people want to benefit and get along. But now Trump is in charge and he calls the shots and the Establishmentarians he has appointed will do what Trump wants not what Jeb Bush or Rubio or their bosses want. Now they work for Trump and therefore they work for the people because Trump works for the people.

Most decisions are made by the great man himself which is why they are such good decisions.

Good for a laugh again. That would be why he's had to go bankrupt what is it, 4 times? Instead of, you know, running a profitable business that was good for all employees and stakeholders. But he chose to get some tricksy accountants to perform a just-about-legal tax fiddle to enrich himself personally but shaft everyone else. Looks as if that's his plan for the US.

Claig, you are obviously not a real person, or rather, not a person who really holds these silly views. I could believe you if you supported Trump but engaged in any kind of discussion about possible worries but instead you just repeat an endless string of spinbabble.

You're so Trumpspun you're pretty much candy floss, but you leave a really bitter aftertaste.

Ontopofthesunset · 19/12/2016 16:23

And also, in just one of your amazing pieces of illogical argumentation, you say that "the people" understand Trump but that "most people" don't as they believe the BBC. Is this some kind of Holy Fool world in which only the most stupid can see the truth?

claig · 19/12/2016 16:24

'You're so Trumpspun you're pretty much candy floss, but you leave a really bitter aftertaste.'

Don't read my posts then. MN is a huge place, there are lots of other interesting threads (though not as interesting as this one).

No because you can't see the truth

OP posts:
Lweji · 19/12/2016 16:32

No because you can't see the truth

You're entering into religious cult territory, have you noticed?

Ontopofthesunset · 19/12/2016 16:35

But that's my point, isn't it? How come some of 'the people' can see 'the truth' and others of 'the people' can't? Why is refusing to believe lots of scientific evidence smart? Why is lying clever? If a liar calls other people a 'room full of liars' who is telling the truth? You may choose to believe I'm stupid because your endless repetition of meaningless soundbites doesn't convince me, but I may choose to believe otherwise because, you know, evidence and stuff.

The only possible position to hold is one that acknowledges and accepts ambiguity and uncertainty. Hence your Victory Parade posts don't stand up to any scrutiny.

SouthallGirl · 19/12/2016 16:37

Apparently Soros funds snopes.com

"Today, Snopes has turned into a sycophantic political surrogate for the Progressive Left, the Obama Administration, and Hillary Clinton. Fancying itself as a “political fact-checker,” it has become completely unreliable, existing as an excuse-making machine for the morally relativistic."

I did wonder why the extreme lefties on the Trump threads kept referencing snopes.

derxa · 19/12/2016 16:40

Although claig 's theories are rather 'out there', I agree with her on the pushing of certain personalities on the BBC etc. Watched SPOTY last night.
The smug presenters Gabby, Gary and Claire. The 'right' kind of presenters of prizes. Jessica Ennis Hill Tom Daley and Eddie Izzard.
Just ignore me.

Lweji · 19/12/2016 16:42

This is not the price that Trump may or may not be prepared to pay them, it is the billions they already possess

And as we are entering quasi-religious rapture, as even the great JC recognised, rich people rarely have the interests of "the people" at heart:,

"Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God."

(1:50, btw)

Although it looks like Trump is doing his best to appeal to divine intervention.

(fabulous moment for Trump)
claig · 19/12/2016 16:43

'You're entering into religious cult territory, have you noticed?'

I answered a question about "seeing the truth". But ultimately eveything is spiritual, everyone is mortal, even the elites and karma will come to them for what they have done. You can see it on the faces of some of their servants for the wars they entered into based on lies.

"What good is it for a servant to gain the world yet lose their soul?"

As one of my favourite singers, Johnny Cash, sang "you can run on for a long time, sooner or later God's gonna cut you down"

OP posts:
Lweji · 19/12/2016 16:46

"Today, Snopes has turned into a sycophantic political surrogate for the Progressive Left, the Obama Administration, and Hillary Clinton. Fancying itself as a “political fact-checker,” it has become completely unreliable, existing as an excuse-making machine for the morally relativistic."

Or the extreme righties (what the hell is an extreme lefty?) have become so overcome with lies that they can't recognise any truth if it hits them on the face.

Or rather, anything that doesn't match your opinion, no matter how much evidence there is for it, it's considered a lie. And your opinions become truth in your minds. Even worse, ranting spinning liars become the holders of truth, just because they shout more or rant the most, or speak of things that are generally considered bollocks (not through an all encompassing conspiracy, but because they are unfounded bollocks).

claig · 19/12/2016 16:47

'Apparently Soros funds snopes.com'

Yes Southallgirl. I think possibly Politifact too.

Pathetic isn't it? Hopefully, Trump will sort everything out and end the lies on the media

OP posts:
claig · 19/12/2016 16:49

derxa, you are spot on. That is how it all works.

OP posts:
SouthallGirl · 19/12/2016 16:53

Although claig 's theories are rather 'out there'.

I dont think so. Perhaps her hopes are 'out there' but thus far what she predicted has come to pass - Brexit and Trump. All the political journalists, decades in the job, in the middle of campaign trails and they still did not have an intuition that something might go wrong for Hilllary.

And don't start with the popular vote stuff. Trump won as per the American voting system.

Lweji · 19/12/2016 16:59

So, who funds Breitbard?

A tower full of liars?

Also, my JC trumps your JC, claig. :)

Trump (Part 6)
Lweji · 19/12/2016 17:01

Trump won as per the American voting system.

Yes, but it wasn't overwhelming, nor supported by the popular vote.
He (and his minions) should be much more humble about the result.
