Is there a way to sack RMT fat boys?

These drivers work less than nurses, get double pay starting at over £49k and yet want to strike for more and more.

It is ultimately the people who pay for their wages through higher and higher fares. No wonder, London Transport is already the most expensive in Europe.

If they have to demand more wages and lesser working hours, do it by negotiation - not by strikes. They already get more than enough.

So bloody fed up with this , missed a meeting the last time this time was hoping to take DC to London on 25th for family day out and back again on 27th for work , now will be chaos again .

They need to sort this out

According to Guardian article the station staff will only be required to work 3 nights a year , all this over three nights a year . No one will get less holiday , apparently for station staff that's a cool 52 days a year .The drivers will get £200 extra for every night shift and they are only running on 2 nights a week , on 5 out of 11 lines

These strikes merely drive forward the day of driverless trains. Docklands is already driverless and as the technology improves for driverless cars there will be no reason for drivers in trains.

A recipe for Union to loose public sympathy and make public against Labour; Corbyn should speak against this madness or at least try to put some sense in McClusky's thick head.

Given what has already been offered to them, just another thick militant trade union trying to take on a Conservative administration e.g. Uggg "why isn't Boris around our table", and don't give a rats tail who they inconvenience.

While in this EU malarkey the Labour movement thinks is the bees pyjamas, why don't we just bring in from Europe those who want to work here on the nights shifts - and bring London in line with other capitals that have had night services for years?

Roll on driverless trains

Ill say it again. The drivers are not on strike. Aslef have suspended action pending further talks.

Good on Aslef: Most drivers are now not on strike.

But RMT is still bent on causing chaos to strike for the sake of strike. McCluskey needs to understand the ground realities. He is a problem for Labour - not a friend.

Drivers aren't on strike this time, but driverless trains remove one set of the workforce. Once the drivers go you can transfer the station staff to private companies on a line by line basis so that in future a strike might hit one line but not them all.
