I mean this website. I did it years ago & did it again just now and um... well, kind of amusing results. Just wondered if others got what they expected or instead surprised.

Just took the time to do it and my results match my voting intentions. Phew!

Constituency results are interesting. Green then snp with Labour trailing well behind both. I'm in a 40 odd year long Labour safe seat.

gruber · 29/03/2015 12:33

Interesting- it did match my intentions though I like how it's blind so you are voting for policies. Interesting about my constituency too, not what I'd have assumed.

ChlorinePerfume · 29/03/2015 20:07

Interesting, exactly what I expected...

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 29/03/2015 20:10

Yup. I was mostly green, with a bit of SNP and a tiny smidge of lib dem. Sadly as we don't have PR at WM elections I'll be voting SNP.

RustyBear · 29/03/2015 20:19

It was very accurate for me, though so evenly split between two parties I still don't know which I'll be voting for!

I'm just hoping it's as accurate about my constituency - never had anything but a Tory MP, but this survey only had them at 20%...

RufusTheReindeer · 29/03/2015 20:33

Green for economy and welfare
UKIP for education...that's not going to happen
Labour for immigration...which did surprise me

longfingernails · 31/03/2015 00:26

70% UKIP. 30% Conservative.

Pretty much where I expected to be - but it's annoying that you can only select the policies as a whole, not broken down into individual elements.

I know the actual election would involve a choice like that, but I would hope for more granularity on a site like this.

Seff · 31/03/2015 15:12

I was Green for everything except, erm, environmental issues Grin

There was a couple of sections I didn't do though, it was a few weeks ago.

Stickerrocks · 02/04/2015 22:39

60% Labour, 20% green & 20% lib dem. No surprises there. I live in a true blue area with a UKIP county councillor, so I can vote for my convictions rather than tactically.

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 03/04/2015 15:28

40% conservative
30% ukip
20% labour
10% liberal democrates

Am surprised that I got such a high ukip percentage as I would never vote for them but not surprised it was mostly conservative as that's the way I intend to vote.

shinynewnamechange · 03/04/2015 15:35

I've not really got time to finish it yet but was planning to protest vote Plaid Cymru figuring if they are all shit at least they'd be good for Wales.

But the first economy policy questions you can tell which are Plaid and there is no way I can vote for them now.

Even though it would be better for my family I could never be that bloody selfish, they are really reaching Shock

KatieScarlettreregged · 03/04/2015 15:48

100% SNP
But I knew that anyway.

SirChenjin · 03/04/2015 16:10

80% Labour (having just joined Scottish Labour I'm glad to see it!)
20% UKIP Confused

Zero for SNP (which I rejected constantly throughout) or the rest of the parties.

Takver · 03/04/2015 16:12

Boringly predictable: closest match with Plaid, next closest Labour and Green. I'll be voting Labour as we're in a lab/cons marginal, and I'd do (almost) anything to get our current MP out!

I'd be very happy with a Labour government pulled leftwards by the SNP and Plaid. Doubt it'll happen, though :(

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 03/04/2015 16:19

80% Labour (having just joined Scottish Labour I'm glad to see it!)

Just a wee point. There is no such thing as "Scottish Labour". There is just UK labour. "Scottish Labour" is the name of the accounting unit, but it is run from London, not Scotland. Jim Murphy can't keep any of his promises without Milliband agreeing.

sanfairyanne · 03/04/2015 16:30

i always get green but i wont vote green until we have pr

SirChenjin · 03/04/2015 16:40

ItsAllGoingToBeFine - I'm not getting into another Scottish politics argument with you.

whattheseithakasmean · 03/04/2015 16:44

That was so interesting -

50% Labour
50% Green

I planned to vote Labour, but interesting to learn I am also in tune with the Greens.

Sadly it looks like SNP will win in my constituency Sad.

FoxyVeganJane · 03/04/2015 16:56

20% snp - for democracy
80% scottish green - education, economy, environment and health.

I was suprised by the results, still unsure how I'm voting.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 03/04/2015 17:07

ItsAllGoingToBeFine - I'm not getting into another Scottish politics argument with you

That's OK. I wasn't arguing, it is a very common misconception that Scottish Labour is separate in, for example, the same way the Scottish Greens are a different party to the Greens.

BuzzardBird · 03/04/2015 17:12

I am, to my surprise about a third of each party if you ignore Lib. Was quite shocked by the 30% UKIP but it wasn't on immigration so I'm happy with that.
My highest was Labour and I really didn't know which way to go this time so that is a little help.

SirChenjin · 03/04/2015 17:14

No need to take it upon yourself to explain to me, I understand exactly what the structure is Fine.

Good Smile As I said it is a common misconception misconception, and I misunderstood your post where you used Labour and Scottish Labour separately
Going back and re-reading you say that their policies are the same so my bad...

SirChenjin · 03/04/2015 17:23

Yes, your bad Smile
