Is Labour headed for a post-election coup to topple the Oxbridge elite?

Danczuk has just blasted the "North London liberal elite" who drive somuch of Labour policy and this is just weeks before the election. Is he angling for leadership of the Labour Party post the coming UKIP success all over the land that lays waste to the Labour vote?

Could this be the end of the Establishment PPE hegemony in Labour?
Could we see a return to Labour's working class populist roots and the luvvies leaving after losing the election?

"Labour has been “hijacked” by a north London liberal elite and the public thinks Ed Miliband is more of a “toff” than David Cameron"

“You know, this north London elite view of the world, just doesn’t play in Rochdale, Rotherham, Runcorn or anywhere else beginning with an “r” outside the M25."

"“I do think the party has almost been hijacked by what I’ve described previously as a north London liberal elite. It’s just so disconnected. So it’s not even just about whether we have MPs from a working background, it’s the whole party and travel of direction for the party."

"the recent Sutton Trust research that found a third of new parliamentary candidates with a reasonable chance of winning their seat in the general election were privately educated. The report added that the new candidates were unlikely to reflect any more social diversity than the current crop of MPs. “I don’t think it’s healthy, it’s not good for democracy,” says Danczuk. “It’s the wrong way for politics to be. We need a better balance."

Desperate times for the Establishment. Their grip on the people is crumbling. Labour has been hijacked by a North London liberal Oxbridge elite and the Tories have been hijacked by a metropolitan liberal Oxbridge elite who both care more about the polar bear, the hoodie, the husky, the flipped home and their bath plugs than the voters whom they treat as mugs, and the people are looking for a change, for just a little bit of common sense.

Will the people put the final nail in the coffin of the Ancien Oxbridge regime or will it limp on to spin another day?

Will Danczuk become the next Labour leader and restore some common sense?

They showed a clip of the 1945 Labour party manifesto on Russia Today today and it was amazing. What a great party it was, what courage its leadership had, what service they had to the people and the nation. How different it was to the North London liberal oxbridge elite we see today.

Here are just some of the amazing things that Labour then offered. No wonder they won the election then, they deserved it because they served the people.

"The Labour Party stands for freedom - for freedom of worship, freedom of speech, freedom of the Press. The Labour Party will see to it that we keep and enlarge these freedoms, and that we enjoy again the personal civil liberties we have, of our own free will, sacrificed to win the war. The freedom of the Trade Unions, denied by the Trade Disputes and Trade Unions Act, 1927, must also be restored. But there are certain so-called freedoms that Labour will not tolerate: freedom to exploit other people; freedom to pay poor wages and to push up prices for selfish profit; freedom to deprive the people of the means of living full, happy, healthy lives."

How different from today. just recently Labour were the party that restricted the people's civil liberties and even wanted to bring in biometric ID cards and DNA databases for the people. In 1945 Labour championed "free speech", now only one party champions that and they never even existed in 1945.

"The nation needs a tremendous overhaul, a great programme of modernisation and re-equipment of its homes, its factories and machinery, its schools, its social services.

All parties say so - the Labour Party means it. For the Labour Party is prepared to achieve it by drastic policies and keeping a firm constructive hand on our whole productive machinery; the Labour Party will put the community first and the sectional interests of private business after."

"They say, "Full employment. Yes! If we can get it without interfering too much with private industry." We say, "Full employment in any case, and if we need to keep 8 firm public hand on industry in order to get jobs for all, very well. No more dole queues, in order to let the Czars of Big Business remain kings in their own castles. The price of so-called 'economic freedom' for the few is too high if it is bought at the cost of idleness and misery for millions."

What will the Labour Party do?

First, the whole of the national resources, in land, material and labour must be fully employed. Production must be raised to the highest level and related to purchasing power. Over-production is not the cause of depression and unemployment; it is under-consumption that is responsible. It is doubtful whether we have ever, except in war, used the whole of our productive capacity. This must be corrected because, upon our ability to produce and organise a fair and generous distribution of the product, the standard of living of our people depends.

Secondly, a high and constant purchasing power can be maintained through good wages, social services and insurance, and taxation which bears less heavily on the lower income groups."

What a brilliant party, what a brilliant time, what brilliant people. They were a party of hope of the future of the people who controlled the elites and made sure they served the people. They were for growth, progress, industrialisation, economic productivity, invention, employment and the people. How different to today's Climate Change Act which will limit our industrial expansion and put a tax on growth.

It is sad to look at what was and what is now. I hope Danczuk does become labour leader and toplles the North London liberal elite. If he does he will do the whole country a favour and he will once again win for Labour the people's vote.

I put it up for discussion, gave a point of view and am interested in your views.

Yes, UKIP is the party of free speech.

A UKIP candidate, Anne-Marie Waters, puts it well

"Of the major parties that exist in British politics today, there is only one – one – which is genuinely committed to preserving freedom of speech. That party is UKIP. It is the only party with the courage to denounce the dishonesty and hypocrisy of ‘politically correct’ and disingenuous political speech, and to understand its dangers.

We live in a country in which ordinary people are frightened to speak their minds, frightened they might say the “wrong” thing. This is a dangerous situation for any society. A frightened population which cannot say what it thinks is a population under tyrannical control."

Without free speech, we lose our liberties and become subject to rule by an out of touch arrogant elite who believe their role is to manage rather than serve the people.

The overriding thing that makes Farage so popular is his fearless insistence on speaking his mind and exercising free speech. The public instinctively understand and respect that courage because they understand how valuable free speech is, that it is the basis of respect and liberty, and how the people are increasingly losing that right in the world of metropolitan managed media spin and disapproving liberal elite media consensus.

I hope Danczuk renews and reinvigorates Labour by challenging and toppling the North London liberal Oxbridge elite. By doing so he will free the Labour Party and give more room for free speech.

“You know, this north London elite view of the world, just doesn’t play in Rochdale, Rotherham, Runcorn or anywhere else beginning with an “r” outside the M25."

The "elite view doesn't play" but to challenge it is becoming increasingly difficult as free speech is stifled by the metropolitan elite media which does not give voice to different views.

There is a photo of Danczuk in front of his new campaign office in Rochdale with the legendary free speech champion, not Farage but Mrs Duffy, who was invited to open the office. That shows how in touch and how respectful of free speech Danczuk is as opposed to the elite Labour machine which opposes thought that is in disagreement with that of the great and the good.

They showed a clip of Mrs Duffy on TV today.

That spinner Gordon Bennett saw her and shook her hand and said to her something like "you want to say something to me". His spinners had possibly found out she was Labour and thought they could get good TV spin footage by showing the great leader, Gordon Bennett, listening intently to the views of one of the people.

They then showed a clip of the poor woman walking home alone as the Great Leader was chauffered away in his car. She was followed by media cameras almost in tears as she was told what the Great Leader, Gordon Bennett, had said about the good woman.

It summed up the divide between the elite and the people, the puppets and the workers.

You wouldnt bet your house on it but Daves Tories dont really deserve to win What are the bookies saying?

AuntieStella · 01/04/2015 12:18

William Hill odds

There used to be a brilliant Oddschecker site, where you could see odds from several of the big bookies in a table, but they've changed the layout and I couldn't find how to navigate away from sport.

Looks like they expect NOC but Tories taking most seats.
