I hate the government

I hate the way they make so make public sector workers redundant and then infer everyone is a scrounger when there are no jobs, penalise the disabled, destroy education, librarys etc. But do nothing about the bankers, the tax evaders, destroy the morale of teachers (who have a bloody hard job for very little pay). What would I do if I lose my job? I am a single parent (yes the devil incarnate) and work for a local authority, coming up to my 2nd review in 2 years. If I do, then I'd be a benefit scrounger.

I hate the way they penalise the poor, the disabled and do nothing about the bankers and the rich who avoid tax. I'm sick of hearing about scroungers when there are NO FUCKING JOBS.

I think Lagarde speaks with forked tongue and should not be heading up the IMF. Saw a nice comment the other day saying IMF = Immediate Money for France!

bradbourne · 10/02/2012 11:11

I have heard that acronym before!

To be honest, I'm not sure that an IMF endorsement of economic policy counts for that much. I just posted the link to show that earlier claims that the IMF and OECD disagreed with the UK's current fiscal stance were, in fact, incorrect.

Given how the IMF are engaged in screwing over Greece to save French and German banks from going under, and the troika and the eurozone group keep changing the goalposts for the next tranche of funding for Greece, I don't trust Lagarde further than I could throw her (and incidentally, under whose watch did French banks get into the merde? Hers).

brad-

You're right, the IMF still supports the UKs austerity measures for now, and I retract my previous statement.

Let's see how long this will last, given the UKs worsening financial situation...
