PPP, I was thinking of all rents - no distinction between DSS and others. Low-paid people, whether on HB or not can't afford the high rents either. If the government wants to kick start the economy, capping the rents landlords charge is a good start, as it gives people more disposable income.
I can see why you are bitter, SurprisEs, but as I understand it, these people were already living in London and could afford to live there - until HB was capped. Now they are going to have to move away from friends, family, jobs and schools to poorer areas which could easily become like ghettos Also it makes sense for people to live near their work - to avoid transport costs and relieve congestion on public transport and the roads.
