how are you going to vote in the 3rd March referendum?

I think a year or so ago I may have voted no, but am now so scared by Cameron's 'out there' NHS ideas, and the cuts to Universities, that I think I'm going to have to vote yes.

If you has asked me a year ago , like you I would have maybe opted to give a NO vote. Now in view of their policies I am revising my thinking on the referendum This year had seen a slight drop in the level of unemployment here, obviously that slight improvement is now in jeopardy.

In October PriceWaterhouse Cooper estimated 52,000 public and private sector jobs being lost in Wales, due to the cuts, at that time the unemployment rate in Wales stood at 8.2 per cent, compared with a UK average of 7.7 per cent.
That figure has now risen to 8.4 per cent, with public sector cuts. Now with the Severn barrage axed, the proposed Defence Academy at St Athens also axed... ......With a downturn in the construction industry..things certainly wont get better......We are in for a rough ride, whether voting yes or no in the referendum. However I am Leaning more toward a Yes vote at the moment.

Undercovamum, Also the The National Assembly for Wales election 2011 for the National Assembly and the Welsh Assembly Government, is on the 5th of May. So my vote will be also based on what results come from those.

40s - agree that things are not exactly perfect in Wales, compared to England. Just hearing today about the comparably low level of school funding in Wales.

However, there are a lot of good things. How sustainable they would actually be if Wales ever did get complete independence is another matter, and not something I am in favour of at all.

I think I will vote yes - I'm a big supporter of devolving power as far as possible.

Yes complete independence is something I have always been against Mutha.

It just seems such a pity after Wales has taken nearly 30 years to recover a little from the mass unemployment of the 80's early 90's. We are facing even more economic hardship.

I just googled to see the gap in school funding you mentioned Those figured are quite worrying, these children are the future and their education is something that shouldn't be skimped on.

All the more reason to see what proposals/promises candidates are making before the coming election and if that gap is something that is going to be tackled.

I was JUST about to post a question on this! Yes I got my polling card...I thought the referendum initially was for the polling reform but I'm guessing that's in May.

I shall be voting NO. I have met with Mr.Dixon on many occasions who has failed to convince me of the "usefulness" of the Welsh Assem. I'm far happier just leaving it to the "proper" Governing body...I think the WA is a waste of time if I'm honest.
