He seems to be out of his depth and galloping like a riderless stallion.

There is a simple medical solution; but I
will refrain from mentioning it.

SERIOUSLY

Was Dave C ever shadow Minister of Health?

Has he got a grasp of the subject because Lansley seems to be doing multiple BBC interviews today?

I gather the nurse and doctors are not happy with the plan
I dont join political parties; but I do know that "activists" tend to back the leader
in public. (Private? who knows)
cheers "Gabby"

Andrew Lansley has been the Shadow Health Minister for several years so he's best placed to champion the recommended reforms and attend the interviews. No PM, to be fair, is expected to be an expert in the minutiae of every single department. I don't know about the medical profession more generally but my own GP is someone I know well and who's judgement I respect. If he is to believed, their practice feel well placed to take the changes forward. In his words, employing their practice manager was 'the best thing they ever did'.

I'll be listening to the debates with interest.
