It's 'wife's'... with an apostrophe.

Blackduck · 23/10/2010 17:12

and it's 'regards'

mycounty · 23/10/2010 19:52

Gabbyloggon. Ignore spelling or typing errors, I get what you mean! Why does your wife regard it as a kick in the teeth?

Simbacat · 23/10/2010 19:53

We are blacklisting them.

Just do the same if you are bothered.

Is the fact that leading business leaders endorse the Governments policys not a good thing.

grannieonabike · 23/10/2010 20:56

Huddspur: 'Is the fact that leading business leaders endorse the Governments policys not a good thing.'

Yes it's a good thing if they represent and share your interests.

For everyone else in the country it's disappointing, but not unexpected.

When no-one has any money to spend in their shops, what will they do? Vote Labour?

baildonwen · 23/10/2010 21:04

I agree with huddspur we need a private sector lead recovery so we must have business on side if we are to attract private sector investment which will provide the growth and jobs that our economy needs.

pinkteddy · 23/10/2010 21:09

Yes marks and spencer is going to replace professional and middle management jobs lost from the civil service, NHS and local authorities with shelf stacking jobs - great!

pallette · 23/10/2010 21:12

I think they are talking the private sector generally pinkteddy and I must say as someone who worked as a buyer for a large supermarket there is more to supermarket staff than just the shelf-stackers, crucial though they are.

pinkteddy · 23/10/2010 21:31

Well I was being flippant but I'm guessing that the majority of the jobs they would provide (for all this increased demand that is going to come from our newly stimulated economy) would be on the shop floor as opposed to management? Happy to stand corrected.
