Allah will bless you for having tried, he knows your intentions. He did not intend for fasting to be so hard on us or our bodies so you shouldn't feel guilty if you are unable to do so.

We were supposed to go to BIL house for iftar this evening but DD has a temp, so DH has gone alone and I get to eat beans on toast alone lol!

welldone to Deeja son. I find that the boys in our family always started fasting before the girls or maybe it was just me I always found it difficult to survive from one meal to the next when i was younger due to a defficience(sp?) in my blood... but now I keep all possible and make them up regularly.

do you think a partial fast - no food but water and rennie has merit or should I just pay fidyah and stop whing?
Off to the doctors now, dd has a temp of 102F but no obvious symptoms
