A good website for the story of St Paul

Hi. Next term (next week ) I have to teach y5 and 6 about St Paul. We have very few resources in school and even fewer funds. Has anyone seen a good website that I could use as it is or take pictures and facts to make a powerpoint to use with the class?

What are your learning objectives?

Do you know a lot about Paul already? If not, you can get a great background from the Wikipedia page.

I would probably focus on Paul (Saul) as being an enemy of Christ before his death, and then his greated supporter afterwards.

I would get the children to draw his path on a blank map of the region, and to mark in the various churches he wrote to.

Do you have a bible? His story is told int he book of Acts. Doesn't actually take that long to read.

Thanks for the ideas. Learning objectives are to 'learn how the followers of Jesus put his teaching into practice' and to learn about 'the life and works of some well-known Christians'. I know nothing about St Paul apart from a vague idea that he didn't like women - good role model for y6??

I was basically trying to be lazy save time by finding ready-made resources. I like the idea od tracing out his route.

Off to Wikipedia and bible.

Our diocese (Ely) has a resources library you can join and borrow stuff from free of charge, DVDs and the like. Maybe you can find a similar resource?

Yes, good idea. Need to check out what they have in Salisbury.
