British Humanist Association advertises on buses: "There's probably no God."

The complete slogan reads: "There's probably no God. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life."

I can't deny that I really dislike this approach. What are they trying to say exactly? Who are these people who are sitting around worrying about the possibility that God exists?

Perhaps they should cut to the chase and say: "There's probably no God. So stop running all the free toddler groups and feeding the poor."

Probably the people waiting at the bus stop for ages and ages would prefer "Look A Bus! A Miracle!"

or since the signs are on bendy buses:

"There is no hellfire - we have bendy buses instead!"

lol Blu.

Agree with others too that this is a sadly missed opportunity. They could have come up with something a little more outward looking. "Enjoy your life"? ffs. Didn't they nick this from Coca Cola? It just makes the BHA look like a bunch of self-centred hedonists with no interest in morality/making things better.

Maybe they should have used Kurt Vonnegut's: "we're here to help each other get through this thing, whatever it is". Although that might also be quite annoying when viewed on the side of a bus. Actually I think buses should just stop prostituting themselves and stay a dignified shade of red all over.
