What is the most interesting/amusing/significant thing a deity has communicated to you?

For those who actively engage in communication with deities, what are examples of the most interesting things they've said (or otherwise communicated) to you?

My communication with deities has been very limited, but one recent experience that amused me was after I made an approach to Aphrodite, who told me, "You're unkempt". (She wasn't wrong.)

To me, divinity is the ultimate reality of everything. It appears to my everyday mind that I am in constant communication with the divine, but more fundamentally there is no separation. The distinction between divinity, the world and the Self belongs to ordinary experience; ultimately there is only non-dual reality. But in terms of the apparent communication- what my experiencing self encounters- it relates to connectedness, beauty and compassion. It is not propositional. Maybe communion is a better word than communication.

Well, I do believe in God, but prefer to call God Love.

Mainly I have communication which is from both me and beyond me. I see that as the product of relationship.

It says 'Trust' when I panic or life is hard.

Just a word, but it is right for me because it helps.

That was nice to read.

@TheWytch

Ah, which one was it?

I'm thinking maybe Manawydan or Gwydion, but those are just random guesses.

It was Brân - in his "bridge" aspect . Almost literally in this case as there was no way my lowered sports car should have got through that flood.

@TheWytch

Makes sense! Do you engage with the Welsh pantheon quite a lot?

Yes - I work with it almost exclusively. It's my cultural and DNA heritage andit just "fits".
