Help needed! Disposing of 'Corpse Water'.

So I found an old drinks bottle in my DC room labelled "Corpse Water". Apparently they filled it from a puddle in the local cemetery. It is likely that it HAS been through graves, both consecrated and unconsecrated.

They don't live at home anymore and I want to dispose of it because whether it's genuine or not, I want to be rid of it and destroy it.

I know it can be used in black magic and I genuinely don't know whether DC was attempting anything. I don't feel comfortable just binning it because I feel that would be dabbling with things beyond my understanding.

If anyone has advice on the correct way to dispose of it, please advise. I am able the visit the Cemetery it came from and have access to crucifix, Bible and Holy Water. I also have certain "gifts".

Just pour it down the sink?

Newsenmum · 07/09/2025 19:21

😳

Blueuggboots · 07/09/2025 19:21

What do you think you should do with it? It’s a bottle of water. How would you dispose of a bottle of water normally???

Newsenmum · 07/09/2025 19:21

Ask him

Nomorecoconutboosts · 07/09/2025 19:22

My understanding of the water cycle is that all water has been through everything or pretty much everything anyway, as it is constantly used and reused.
in your situation I’d possibly visit the cemetery and tip away discreetly would you be comfortable doing that?

SliceofTosst · 07/09/2025 19:23

It's just puddle water. Rainwater doesn't go into the coffins and bodies then resurface to a puddle.

Chuck it in the toilet or if you're scared, a drain outside.

nhsmanagersanonymous · 07/09/2025 19:24

If you really must make a performance of it then go to the graveyard and pour it on plants then leave the bottle there in the dustbin.
but tbh I think that’s ridiculous. These things have absolutely no power and black magic does not exist.
I’d advise saying a prayer for your dc though, sounds like they need it.

Water does not flow upwards out of the ground, it will have fallen from the sky.

TBC99 · 07/09/2025 19:28

Oh ffs what?! Just bin it. It's a puddle and has no place being in a bottle in any case

Thegreatestoftheseislove · 07/09/2025 19:31

Corpse Water! 😂 Filling a drinks bottle with puddle water, and sticking that label on it - nowt so strange as folk.

Just chuck it away. But whatever you do, do not rub the bottle before you do - oh, hang on, that's a different fairy tale.

PlanetOtter · 07/09/2025 19:33

If you’re actually worried, give it to a priest. They’ll say something reassuring, make you feel at peace then tip it down the loo themselves.

ProfoundlyPeculiarAndWeird · 07/09/2025 19:33

Do you have any houseplants?
The homeopathic amounts of corpse juice would probably be quite a nourishing plant feed.
Especially for a Venus Flytrap or other carnivorous plant.

WhereYouLeftIt · 07/09/2025 19:41

You're overthinking the disposal - just tip it down the sink, or a drain in the street if you are creeped out by putting it down the sink.

"I know it can be used in black magic and I genuinely don't know whether DC was attempting anything."
So it's not the disposal you're bothered by, really? It's what your DC was doing with it at all?

"Apparently they filled it from a puddle in the local cemetery."
So you've spoken to your DC about it then? (How else would you know its origins?) Why not just ask them WTF they were doing with it?

That’s what I thought. I can’t understand why the op thinks it’s from a body.

And I agree - why havent you asked him? It’s probably a joke.

How could water flow through a grave and come up into a puddle? That literally makes no sense.

Black magic? This isn’t the 16th century anymore.

Tip the water down the sink and put the bottle in the recycling.

Ah... It's a hillside cemetery so the rain falls at the top and does flow through the graves before ending up in puddles at the bottom.

I’m curious what DC wanted to do with it

didntlikeanyofthesuggestions · 08/09/2025 11:32

What gifts do you have? Is it your birthday? Happy birthday.

DiscoBeat · 08/09/2025 11:49

So rain comes down, sluices through all the bodies in their coffins deep underground, travels back up through the earth and ends as a puddle on the surface? Well you learn something new every day!
Just pour it over a plant outside.

Ha ha. Where do you think rivers come from? And springs?

Gall10 · 08/09/2025 11:58

Isn’t all drinking water in London just some random persons recycled piss? Water from a puddle seems pretty innocent compared to this!

Fionasapples · 08/09/2025 11:59

Wooooooooooooo!!!!! 👻👻👻👻👻

roundaboutthehillsareshining · 08/09/2025 12:00

If you're finding this spiritually unsettling, then how about using it to water some plants or a street tree? From death, life is created and nourished.

SoftandQuiet · 08/09/2025 12:03

Amusing
