Can anyone here interpret dreams?

Had a strange one last night. There was a crowd and they were chasing a polar bear along a path. Next thing I'm in a kitchen with it trying to find it meat and feeding it and stroking it. My elder dsis was there. It was tame and neither of us were scared.

Just so random 🤔

@Tulipvase that's so lovely.

The other dreams sound like you're either trying to juggle too many things or feel you aren't in control.

Go on google Gemini - it is excellent at interpreting dreams. Ask for a comparison between Yung, Freud and Gestalt. You will be amazed.

I can't find it?

You are feeling very protective of someone who looks strong and capable on the outside, but is actually very vulnerable. Perhaps a family member? There is a sense of responsibility towards this person. Perhaps a shared sense of responsibility. (I think that dreams are metaphors...)

alrightluv · 20/04/2024 10:23

@starray who is that to?

@alrightluv To you. Just my interpretation of your dream. Probably inaccurate! 😄

@Devonbabs interesting interpretation, and very relatable. I'm battling with childhood demons these last couple of years and it's been dominating much of my thought space.

I’m which case you need to find a way to let go of these demons. The past is hindering your present and future.

Why? How do you know that besides your own unproven beliefs?

Just ignore. I never know why people bother or have the inclination to post when it's of no interest. Must be bored 🥱 😂
They'd love the fact I'm a spiritualist 😮

I wish we could block posters from threads. @mnhq that'd be a great facility 🤞

@Isthatascratchonmygrandmother what age group are you? I'm 50s and finding things from the past keep intruding in my thoughts. Post menopausal so could be something to do with that?
I hope you find a way to move forward.

Interesting thread op.

I have several recurring dreams. The most common one for me is discovering extra rooms in my house that I'd forgotten were there. I say my house, as in my dream it's the one I'm living in, but not always the house I actually live in. It's always a lovely exciting surprise to discover the extra rooms but they're always in quite a sorry state. It's such a realistic dream I often wake up thinking how I'm going to decorate and furnish the rooms and then am surprised when I realise I was dreaming. I have this dream quite regularly. I used to think it was just a desire for more space but now dcs are all grown up we have loads of space yet I still have the dream.

Another frequent dream is that I'm sort of floating when I walk so I can take massive steps and keep myself in the air until I want to put my front foot on the ground.

Then there are the sitting down for an exam having done no revision and my teeth falling out dreams!!

Any suggestions for what the first two might mean?

I’ve spent quite a bit of time querying atheist’s beliefs/non beliefs (under a different user name). I’ve come to the conclusion that their views are just their opinion. No more, no less.

My grandmother was a spiritualist medium. Did you come to spiritualism or grow up a spiritualist?

I would say that the first is telling you that you have lots of unexplored potential that you need to work with.

id say the second one links to the first.

@Devonbabs my mother,nan and aunty took me with them to the spiritualist church when I was little. But I went away from it then back to it.

Thanks for explaining. Thats interesting, what drew you back, what drew you back, if you don’t mind me asking? Do you think there’s a string link through the female line.

Its something I keep meaning to explore more.

This is so interesting. Spiritualism is fascinating.

Fully agree about the atheists; it's a belief for them and I leave them to it.

It’s always such an amazing experience - that feeling of coming home when you find your spiritual path

alrightluv · 22/04/2024 19:43

@Devonbabs absolutely. I haven't been to my church in a while. I might go this weekend.
