What is 'Traditional Communion'? CofE

I'm on holiday in England, I'm a regular church goer in the Church of Scotland.

I fancied going to the local church tomorrow but the service is Traditional Communion, that's all the website says for tomorrow morning.

Does anyone know what this service would be? Is it different to Holy Communion? Would it be an actual service?

I don't want to turn up and be out of place!

Probably a Holy Communion where the liturgy is taken from the Book of Common Prayer, i.e. in old fashioned language

Do go, I'm sure they will be very welcoming

It will be a service. Likely hymns, reading, sermon, intercessions and then communion with liturgy. The word traditional suggests to me something reasonably formal in terms of format and words used. Could even be book of common prayer (though that is usually specified).

Thank you, that's really helpful
