@EvelynSalt

Happy Birthday 🥳

Mira Bai. the saint of true freedom

Love is what sets me free.
I am married to my own soul.

Mira Bai encourages us to follow our own path, to make our own choices not those inflicted upon us by traditions or circumstances (or marriage). She represents standing up for what is right for you, even if you will be judged for doing so. True love is free from expectations, it does not care about what is socially acceptable. Be your true authentic self, even if that means bravely defying what others expect of you. Love wants us to marry our own soul first, to do what is right for us.

@Nilbog

Lalita the red Goddess

Playfulness is a spiritual power.
Laughter leads me back to the light.

If you are agonising on a problem in your life, try not to hold on so tightly. By loosening your grip and being more playful and imaginative you may come up with solutions you would not have done otherwise. She reminds us it is important to seek the childlike part of ourselves at times of great levity. That playfulness releases us from their weight. Like the friends who lovers who during a great argument burst out laughing and break the ice. We do not have to suffer for what we desire. By lightening up and finding joy and play, we will be who we need to be to receive what we want the most

Lalla. The saint of spoken words.

Every word I say becomes a prayer. I am the author of my own story.

Lalla reminds us of the power of the words we use to describe ourselves. All words can become a prayer, an affirmation. The power in them can change the way we view our story up until now and shape our present and future into a totally different form. They have a deep power that can break down the duality of our existence. For as much as each day we are closer to death we are also more alive, and the more we are present and our feet firmly on this earth we are close to the higher realm. Who are you in this moment? You get to decide what your purpose is. You are the author of your own story.

@Shortpoet

Saint Brigid. Our lady of the exalted light.

I give endlessly because the light is without end. My soul is all I need.

Saint Brigid reminds us that there is a light within which can fuel us far more effectively than any external things. If you are feeling disconnected, it is because you are turning to outside things to fix what is inside. Instead, do the things that ignore your inner flame. This may be through a passion, through poetry or through movement. Give generously all that you have materially and you will find even though you have nothing materially you have more than you need in life. If you are thinking of a spring clean, now would be the perfect time and you may find you shift more than just the outer junk.

Ignite your inner flame not ignore it! Sorry 😂

Marguerite Porete the mystic of Divine love

Love is divine, and I am nothing except love.

Maguerite Porete reminds us of the simple truth that we are love. We have nothing to prove and do not need to change to receive love, because we already are love. When we love deeply and listen to our soul, we are not separate from the divine. Because Love is God and God is love. This gives us power, that even in the flames we can tell our truth. She reminds us to tell our truth, there is no need to fear if we act in love.

If you are able I’d appreciate some guidance - whether to cancel an arrangement that’s potentially enjoyable but the thought of which is causing anxiety or whether to go ahead so as not to disappoint others. I’m torn between listening to gut instinct yet not wanting to be ruled by my fears.

FavouriteMug · 10/03/2022 23:47

Me please, I'm struggling with this next phase of my life and can't see a way forward.

AuntFlorence · 10/03/2022 23:59

@MagpieCastle

Rita of Cascia.

The patroness of impossible causes.

I am Miraculous. My prayers Create powerful channels of possibility.

Rita of Cascia reminds us to always believe in the possibility of resolving any conflict or feud. However, she also warns us that it may be necessary to have strong boundaries and maybe never see this person again. They may need a love that is greater than what we can give, and so praying from afar maybe be of greater benefit. She also reminds us that we forgive people not for them, but for ourselves. That letting go of old grudges and relationships that no longer serve us frees us up for greater possibilities.

@FavouriteMug

Queen Esther
The morning star

My ego is in service of my so. And I trust my soul's divine timing.

Queen Esther reminds us to trust our intuition and in our soul's divine timing. This is the timing that is perfect for us. The Ego may try to set a different timetable, because we are feeling threatened or stressed, but when we are under duress and working to the egos timetable we are blocked off from the energy of the universe that may otherwise help us. Accep that things will happen when the time is right and that we cannot hurry things when the time is not, trust that when it feels right it will all fall into place if you trust yourself to know when it feels right.
