Good morning! Grey here this morning, but this should shift into a bright, sunny afternoon. I have bought a couple of candles this morning - one lovely yellow one which I shall charge in the sunlight to spread joy and cheer whenever I light it, and a vetiver and sandalwood one, which I think I will use when in need of nurture.

I love how even the most mundane of items can be used to infuse our days with a little magic - little ribbons tied here and there for various intentions, pieces of jewellery that infuse me with courage - the options are endless! I especially love items that seem magic, despite never having 'worked' on them. Years ago, I bought a wall hanging of Krishna, simply because I loved the imagery. I never had any room for it, so tucked it away. When we moved here, 10 years ago, I found the perfect spot for it, and hung it up. Since then, our garden has been teeming with wildlife, most of it tame, and I have been in heaven. It was only a couple of years ago that I did some reading on the symbolism of Krishna, that I discovered his associations with animals. Beautiful!

May everyone have a gentle, nurturing day, with glints of magic here and there!

AnotherCrazyBirdLady I love the sound of your candles a flame is such a source of energy. The hottest part of the candle is 1000 degrees C, and actually called the "dark zone", just above the wick this is where the burning takes place. The luminous zone just above is the brightest, but not as hot as the dark zone. I love these interesting geeky facts!! And amazing to know that the hardest work in the candle is not in the light at all. Some real metaphors for life and magic.
I threw myself into deck painting at 8am this morning with gusto, and finished the first coat by 9.30. Thanks to my weird ability to squat walk and creep about like Gollum I am happy working at floor level!!
AnotherCrazyBirdLady I I know exactly what you man about small things- I am exactly the same. I am not a fan of "stuff", but small things set about remind me of a joyful way and lift my heart.
Seems like Krishna has blessed your garden!

What a beautiful evening! I'm enjoying sitting in my garden, it's lovely now that it's a little cooler. The sky's so clear and I've got a perfect view of the waxing moon. It's actually peaceful too, which is unusual for where I live!

I've had a bit of a challenging week, various issues with my work laptop, tradesmen doing some work involving lots of hammering and drilling, and this afternoon discovering a huge scratch on the door of my car. All rather irritating, but I'm telling myself these are only material things. I allowed myself a little time to feel the annoyance, but I'm determined not to let it drag me down!

So as more often than not these days it is about finding balance and flow. Reducing stress calms anxiety for me- it is hard to take control of emotions, but I and learning to recognise and allow factors which protect a calm energy

Speakout your words really resonated with me. I need to restore my flow, so planning to make this weekend as stress free as possible. It looks like we're going to get some sunshine this weekend finally, so I'm looking forward to spending some time in the garden.

Queenrollo I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. My heart goes out to you and your son, and of course her poor partner and children. Sending lots of love to you all.

speakout · 17/07/2021 06:13

VioletCharlotte your evening sounds magical. I am glad you have found a place of calm and rest.
I have woken to a golden sunrise, the early burst of vivid summer colour is giving way to richer, deeper hues, I can feel the first whispers of Lughnasadh in the air. Flowers are making way for fruit and days are getting a little shorter.
I plan to deepen my journey of flow this weekend- still dealing with the day to day, not sitting on a mystical mountain top!
The challenge for me is finding the pace and maintaining an easy rhythm while still going about my daily activities.
The church at the head of my wolf wood is now sporting a for sale sign. A church for many centuries led by some of the local clergy who had an appetite for murdering women. A dwindling congregation means it is no longer sustainable. It is a listed building and will be an interesting conversion. I have no sadness at the loss. Hopefully the wolves will have easier neighbours in future!

Off for a lemon spa shower and a sunrise yoga session.

Have a magical day sisters.

It does sound magical Violet, in fact you inspired me to go and drink in the beautiful night air last night too. Clear skies and that wonderful expansive moon energy. I hope you felt soothed by it after a week of irritations, they can add up to quite a weight can’t they.

speakout I love hearing of the work you’re doing on balance, mindfully creating a flow that works for you. So valuable. I’ve noticed the change in colours too, the tip towards Lammas, such a joy to take in and work with the turn of the wheel.

Fabulous news about the church by your wolf woods- long overdue an energy shift by the sound of it. The wolves are well placed to keep an eye on who next inhabits the space, perhaps a nudge or a snarl to influence the outcome of the sale

I hope everyone’s been able to enjoy some solar energy today and soak up a bit of it’s zing. Wishing everyone a lovely evening

speakout · 18/07/2021 07:15

I love the sound of the night skies. Especially after a hot day the cool night air is welcome.
I am just getting ready to have an early morning river walk. I have a substantial river just 3 minute walk from my home, set in deep woodland, I want to collect some flat stones ( small ones) for balancing sculptures, they also make good soap dishes.
I am having a break from yoga today. Yesterday I did a hot and hard Body pump class and my muscles are in protest- so an early morning walk is all the activity I need today.
I love this time, especially on a Sunday, no signs of human activity at all outside.
Time to collect some river magic!

Good morning sisters.

I'm on holiday, my goodness does it feel good to be by the seaside! My heart is full of joy after watching mini Toto jump over waves on the shoreline.

I've found an outdoor yoga class to attend this morning, this will set the mood for the rest of the holiday. The last 3 months have been some of the hardest of my life, now it's time to rest, reflect and regroup.

Thinking of you all as I watch the power and magic of the ocean.

speakout · 18/07/2021 08:36

TotoAnnihiliation

Your holiday sounds blissful- and outdoor yoga just the ticket!
The ocean is so healing, I hope it works some magic to restore you.
I have just returned from a peaceful river walk, it has also set me up for the day.

Oh it lifts my heart to come here and find such glorious water energy. I can feel the energy you have both shared by sharing this here it has put a big smile on my face. Thank you sisters.

So good to hear you are having a holiday Toto, the power of the sea and outdoor yoga sound like the perfect tonic. Wishing you a replenishing break.

Wow speakout those pictures are magical! The energy of woodland and the water is divine- so fae, and it looks like there’s a green woodland sprite amongst the trees! Wonderful

What a perfect start to a Sunday- day of worship indeed- sacred water sites

speakout · 18/07/2021 09:22

Aerwyna

Yes- I saw the sprite too- in fact she appears in several of my photos from ths morning. I was aware on an elemental presence with me on my walk- the goddess obviously, but something else, something light and playful. I am glad I was able to capture her! Here she is again.

Wow Speakout those pics are incredible, try fae energy leaps off the screen. It makes me want to rush off to a woodland glen.

Aerwyna I've noticed the subtle change in colours too. The wheel seems to turn faster every year, I can't quite believe we're in mid-July already. I have even noticed blackberries starting to appear. Nowhere near ripe yet, but another sign that we're moving towards Lammas.

Toto your holiday sounds wonderful, and how lovely to find a yoga class to start the day. You certainly picked the right week to go away. I hope you have a fabulous time.

Speakout well done on the Body Pump, it's a tough class isn't it? I love it though, it always makes me feel like a warrior! I'm taking a break from the more strenuous classes as my body needs to rest at the moment, but looking forward to when I can start up again.

I'm enjoying a quiet cup of coffee in my garden. It's lovely and cool at the moment, but in a hour or so the sun will come round and it'll be hot to sit out here. I need to head out soon to try supermarket, then this afternoon I'm meeting a couple of new friends from yoga, both are quite 'witchy' so looking forward to some company with like minded souls.

Hope you all enjoy the sunshine 🌞

Aerwyna · 18/07/2021 10:13

How wonderful speakout- she is fabulous- so bright in your photos too!
Bright and playful elemental energy to infuse your week ahead what a gift . To me it feels like she is attracted to your kindred spirit and can sense the energy you focus to protect the woodlands. Perfect walking companions!

hilariousnamehere · 18/07/2021 11:44

I can feel the water and Fae energy rolling off the page and it's lifted me this morning, thank you sisters.

I'm sitting in my garden, me and both cats have found our preferred shady spots. Am massively behind with work due to a couple of weeks which have been a comedy of errors and overrunning meetings because people are so excited to be meeting in person again.

And I spent all of yesterday working in my garden with Mum including giving my overenthusiastic bay tree a much needed big trim, to allow the inner leaves a chance to get sunlight and to stop it from smothering the plants to either side of it. I have a wonderful stash of bay for cooking now!

Am planning for today to be gentle but might sneak the boat out later on or tomorrow - am in definite need of some more water magic before I tackle my to do list again.

Have a wonderful Sunday loves!

BlurpBlorp · 18/07/2021 14:04

Hello everyone - I posted a fair bit last year but have gotten out of the habit. I've still been carrying the magical manifestations that I've learned from this lovely thread but hope I can now come back and post a bit more. I have missed you all!

@speakout it's filled me such joy just seeing that you have a river as beautiful as that near you. And @TotoAnnihiliation hearing of your ocean magic has made me very happy too. Thanks! I'm baking in the heat where I live and not near water, although I do have my lovely garden and witchy shed, which I was manifesting into life when I was last posting. I've channelled my magic into growing things and bearing in mind I'm 44, have had the most success I've ever had with growing plants - bought as a plants or from seed. I'm sitting here looking at sunflowers, Teddy Bear Sunflowers, mint, chard, various wildflowers, Hollyhocks, and a stonking great calendula plant that grew from the 1 seed that sprouted in a pack of maybe 20. My happy place.

Am starting to plan how I'll mark Lughnasadh with my girls this year. @speakout thanks for the candle analogy. It works on so many levels and really resonates with me.

Leave you all with positive loving vibes, and a wish that you can all charge up and feel restored in today's heat and sun.

speakout · 18/07/2021 14:58

Thank you for all the energetic and loving support sisters.
I have some time this afternoon and feeling drawn to Tarot.
Not an expert- but if anyone would like me to draw a card my deck is twitching!

A powerful card- The Moon.

Another major arcana card for you- The Star.
A card to guide you to a place of balance and remind you that we are all made of star dust. This is a card of pure light, urging us to look inwards and to shine our light outwards. The Star brings hope, renewed power, and strength to carry on with life- indicates hope for the future, inspiration. A hugely positive card.

Oh I think I may have missed the opportunity- I was indeed outside marvelling over a patch of self seeded enchanters nightshade at the side of my house! Made me think of our sister of the same name who used to post here Smile

if it’s not too late I’d love a card too please speakout

Blurpblop it’s lovely to see you again, your shed and garden sound magical, a wonderful manifestation of the energy you’ve grown

speakout · 18/07/2021 17:13

Aerwyna not too late at all are you thinking of the magic potion sister?

OP posts:
Aerwyna · 18/07/2021 17:17

Oh fabulous, thank you speakout

I can’t remember about the potions but our friend Enchanters certainly knew her plants. She was a wise and reflective member of our earlier threads I think

speakout · 18/07/2021 17:29

Aerwyna

The Chariot. A card of movement, also one which highlights your determination, willpower and strength. The driver is a warrior, in control and able to overcome obstacles. You have the power to overcome.
