Do people get rejected for the church electoral roll

My CoE church has opened its church electoral roll and I would like to apply to be on it to show my commitment to the church but I’m scared of rejection. I think it’s the word ‘application’ that’s putting me off.
Do you know if it is common for people to be rejected? I’ve recently moved to the area and have been regularly attending for about 6 months. Any insight people have to the application process would be much appreacited though I understand it may vary by church. Thanks

I hope I have added an electoral roll application form, which sets out who can be on a parish's electoral roll. This does not vary from parish to parish - it is uniform within the Church of England. Do post again if you have more questions.

I'd think you'd only be rejected if you didn't live in the parish and had never attended church there. As far as I'm aware if you live in the parish you have the right to be on it whether the church likes it or not but they have to pay an amount for everyone registered so they don't really want members who aren't regular churchgoers. You can be on it if you're outside the parish if you attend church on a regular basis (once in a blue moon doesn't count!). As a regular churchgoer they won't leave you off so don't worry!!

Thank you for the reassurance and a copy of the form. I qualify per the terms of the form so should be fine
