Moon there are ancient stone circles and ancient sites near you wherever you live.

Here's a link to search by country/county to get you started.

Why Speakout what's happened??

BlankTimes · 12/01/2019 23:19

Can you sprinkle some salt on it and put some crystals around it to cleanse it if it's the chair's energy that's caused the problem.

Sokere · 12/01/2019 23:26

Are you okay speakout?

Elphame · 12/01/2019 23:29

What has happened speakout

Are you OK?

Elphame · 12/01/2019 23:30

Can you throw a circle round it for tonight?

BartonHollow · 13/01/2019 00:07

If something happens that falls in line with a spell you did.

Do you think of it as your work evidencing itself, pure coincidence or both ?

Something has happened (positive) in line with the intention of my working last week and I'm like

  1. am I magic? Shock
  2. Don't Be So Ridiculous Barton its a coincidence
BartonHollow · 13/01/2019 00:09

Oh, I appear to have posted in the middle of something, I hope you're ok @speakout can you smudge the chair?

speakout · 13/01/2019 07:29

Morning.

Sorry I didn't mean to cause any concern. Biot of a day of conflict within the family- very unusual for us, we are a very harmonious family normally.
Three family members have a visceral dislike of my new chair, DD popped back for lunch yesterday( she was working nearby) DS and OH also can't bear the sight of the chair.
It's now under a cover in the corner of the bedroom. Yesterday was a day of bickering and bad vibes.
The chasir will have to go..

I really don't understand what is going on, but this little thing will need to find a new home. I will take it to the charity shop tomorrow.

This is always the case.

Witchcraft nudges situations- but those intents always have to be within our sphere of availability. So mostly we never know whether it is out spell work or coincidence.

Sometime the manifestation is so profound that it leaves no doubt. The timing, the intenisty of the result can hit us like a bullet train.
Or it can come with messages to signal the manifeststion.

@speakout I'm sorry to hear that. I wonder why it caused such a reaction.

@BH Yes, I totally get what you're saying. I am currently wondering about some bad, unintended effects which is making me alternate between thinking it's just coincidence to my fault.

speakout · 13/01/2019 10:39

Feeling much lighter here.

Removed the stool, cleansed my home, burning some favourite incense.
Everyone calm and happy.

Houses and buildings can hold vibes and atmosphere long gone, I have long felt that objects can too. One of my first responses when I saw it was that that chair has seen some bad things. I had a hunch as to the bad things but with no way to prove felt it was 1, best left unsaid, 2. I want a spinning chair but not that one and 3 you have far more experience than I so probably had the situation under control. Sorry the chair has caused so much trouble. It is worth cleansing the chair before you rehome it to stop the cycle of it manifesting conflict?

It was blowing a storm last night, wish I could have spent more time out in it. It was very cleansing.

HillsBesideTheSea · 13/01/2019 10:43

AH cross posted. Glad everything has been returned to its normal calm

speakout · 13/01/2019 11:17

HillsBesideTheSea

How interesting.
I held the chair this morning and I could feel exactly the same thing, I hadn't noticed it when I bought it, but I focussed my thoughts, I could feel a woman and a child in danger.

I have cleansed the chair with ritual and salt water.
I will still feel happier when it has a new home.

HillsBesideTheSea

Yes the storm was crazy though the night, a howling gale.

Hold on to your broomsticks!!

OP posts:
HillsBesideTheSea · 13/01/2019 12:04

I don't blame you on rehoming it, although hopefully you have done enough that it is no longer able to have such an effect.

I got the woman and child. They were hungry and scared of dying but more scared of an over bearing individual with ill intent (possibly alcohol induced?). The woman was protecting the child? Occurred in a small dark room with open fire. He came in through the external door and the storm blew the fire out? Urgh why is it I see death so strong?! Always with the death. Thank goodness I can feel happy environments in empty buildings too otherwise I thing I would be far more melancholy.

speakout · 13/01/2019 12:14

HillsBesideTheSea

Exactly what I saw!

I had goosebumps reading your post.

OP posts:
HillsBesideTheSea · 13/01/2019 12:20

I guess this is the problem with antiques and old furniture/buildings they see and absorb things.

And now you know why came asking for answers - ways to stop. And thankfully with your fabulous help and advice it is far less intrusive and uncontrollable. Slightly worrying that I got all that from an internet picture rather than being present with the item/room. Guess I have got a bit more practising to do. But really interesting I am not the only one to get that from the chair.

YashmisCrone · 13/01/2019 12:32

Gosh, Hills and speakout I have goosebumps reading that you both saw that. What a sad tale. I’m glad you were able to pick up on it so quickly and take steps to clear and cleanse speakout. Also pleased to hear that peace is restored in your home.

Barton wonderful that you’ve seen some positive results from your work. Brilliant! Really pleased to hear that.

Sokere I see that you’re concerned about ‘causing something bad’ i think the best thing you can do is work on clearing and grounding your energies, mentally detaching yourself where possible, working on protection and not ‘feeding’ the situation with worried energy. Easier said than done I know and I may be way off the mark here- ignore if I am. I’m just concerned that you’re worrying about whatever it is and that alone is never good. Wishing you peace and calm.

BlankTimes that link you shared is fantastic! Thank you. I’ve been planning trips to ancient sites near me Smile

BartonHollow · 13/01/2019 12:45

@YashmisCrone

A bit of honey goes a long way Wink

Elphame · 13/01/2019 13:04

My post seems to have vanished - glad all is well speakout

If I wasn't at the far end of the country I'd offer to rehome it. I've taken on "loaded" pieces of furniture and artefacts in the past. Some I kept, some I didn't.

Sokere Magic is a bit like throwing a pebble into a pond and creating a pattern of ripples. Some are the outcome you want but there are always a lot of unforeseeable and unintended consequences too. Some you can avoid by working carefully - but not always all. It's part of the price you pay for working the craft.

YashmisCrone · 13/01/2019 13:44

Elphame I love the clarity with which you explain things. When you said previously about doing what you need to do and ‘paying the coin’ that really struck a cord with me. For me, it’s been important to be really clear of my intentions in the first place- and to only work with a clear mind. I’ve learnt a lot of valuable lessons about working on my impulses this way.

It’s almost embarrassing to admit that some of these were learnt when I was younger and mostly in relation to love and romance. I always got what I wanted but whether that was the right thing for me was an entirely different matter! I don’t regret anything as I’ve learnt some valuable lessons this way. Oh and that one time I asked Hecate for help she showed me very clearly where my intentions were skewed.

I’ve also learnt about not ‘over using’ protection. Sometimes I can isolate myself like this, which tbh never feels like that much of a problem to me but it’s something I need to be aware of!

I’ve also been thinking about the distinctions between protecting myself from certain energies (for example with a protective cloak) and reflecting back at what people what they project. Sometimes I just want to do the former and leave others involved to their own path if that makes sense.

I’m not in any way linking this to your situation Sokere, just reflecting on my own path.

Barton fabulous! Grin I love honey to sweeten things up!

I’ve got a bit of storm envy going on here- it’s fairly still where I am. I love the energy of a storm to clear and invigorate

Elphame · 13/01/2019 14:31

Protection is an interesting one - I remember failing miserably at a ouija session. Absolutely nothing. It then occurred to me that I'd thrown up so many layers of protection that nothing could get through at all!

If anything I err the other way now - I rarely cast circles ( other than to isolate something - like that troublesome spinning stool). I have however perfected the art of shielding and warding myself pretty much instantly if I have to. Normally though I just rely on the general house wards I have up.

It's blowing a houlie here but just dull and grey. No sign of rain or a storm, just wind, wind and more wind. The cat hates it and it's driving the dog mad too. He hates his coat being blown about.

YashmisCrone · 13/01/2019 15:01

Yes, I think that’s where I’m with it now Elphame- I don’t routinely cleanse, cast circles or protect things but am more confident at shielding in the moment when needs be. I Smudge and cleanse the house and myself when I feel it’s needed and beneficial. Otherwise I quite like to work on building energy rather than removing it. For me it’s come with more confidence in my abilities. I guess it’s different for everyone.
