Friday the 13th lucky or a nightmare?

I am quite superstitious but usually (and I am touching wood here)this is not a bad day for me. I quite like the number 13 and wondered if anyne had a Friday the 13th story to share.

well except in Australia where everything stings you or eats you.

hence the ??? in my post. It certainly looked like a spider, and disappeared off quite promptly after carrying out the dastardly deed, so didn't have enough time to count the legs, or ask it what species it was!

REgarding the spider bite. Keep a close watch in the site of the bite. This happened to me and I developed an infection on the skin, cellulites. If the area becomes inflamed go to see the doctor. I needed treatment with stong antihistamines and antibiotics and felt quite ill with it, ran a fever etc.

Oh my god am now frightened of spiders have always welcomed them into my home!

It is friday the 13th!

My Dh woke up with a start at 4am the other day and said he had just been bitten on the lip (we discovered a spider on the corner of his pillow)!!!

NOoooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

At oddler group today I bought some raffle tickets.
The First ticket on the strip of five was 666. It was actuallly drawn out so I won a packet of starburst "space monster" jelly sweets.

I have had an unusually lucky day! Was paid over generously for a job I did, got my computer fixed, bumped into a friend who I havent seen for ages and discovered magnum mini ice creams. What a corker! I was born on a friday 13th (february).
