What has your church organised for holy week or Easter day?

I was hoping to hear what other churches do in holy week and on Easter day to celebrate. This year I have joined a new church which is in the town centre, right on the doorstep of a big shopping mall. We are part of a big parish of several churches and all have come together to run a prayer labyrinth inside our church. Today we have given out free hot cross buns and hot drinks to shoppers, a team of four of us split and buttered almost 1000 hot cross buns. There have been children's crafts running and a prayer activity involving throwing coloured balls into baskets.
What have you done at your churches? I'd love to get some inspiration for next year.

Catholic here.
So we have a standard normal...
Mandy Thursday evening mass with foot washing, and 'watching' (late night quiet prayer reminding us of Jesus the garden.)
Good Friday 3pm service
Easter vigil Mass, late on Saturday night.
Easter Sunday morning Mass.

During lent we have had various 'stations of the cross' services including one for the kids with crafts.
And joined with the other Catholic churches in the area once a week in Lent.
And then joined the other Christians for good Friday walk of witness and lent courses.

I think that is very standard for Catholics.

However we also have a shared table meal on Easter Sunday and a fab egg hunt for the kids.

Thank you isit. I used to sing in the choir of a C of E high church as a child, and the drama of the Maundy Thursday service made a great impression on me, the altar being stripped, and leaving in silence as the prayer vigil began. I do love the drama and ceremony of a traditional church service.

Last weekend our churches together group had a stall in the town centre and we gave away baked goods, flowing plants and balloons with the churches' blessing for a happy Easter. There was a treasure hunt for children. It was colourful and very joyful - lots of positive comments on Facebook which was nice to see.

Then yesterday there was a silent walk of witness though the town. Easter Sunday will be an all age service with Easter egg hunt afterwards for the kids.

Mine's opted for outdoors services. Caught us off guard yesterday. We were passing what I thought was a protest and I was asking my partner to pick up some things from the shop he was heading in to when I was shushed by a protester. Or so I thought. It wasn't until I got up to the banner that I realised it was an organised prayer event.

Its good to hear that churches are getting out there in the community. We are having a joint praise service with another local church tomorrow, it will be a lively one with a band made up of musicians from both churches. We will be meeting early for breakfast together before the service. Everyone will bring a small chocolate egg with them and they will be given out at the end of the service so that everyone receives a small easter gift. I've bought a mini lindt bunny.

Standard C of E with Maundy Thursday and Good Friday services and then a dawn service on Easter morning, breakfast at the Vicarage and then a communion service at 10am. My church has a tradition of expecting the vicar to do everything and it is taking time to get them to realise that if they want community stuff to happen they need to do it themselves. Next year it would be great to organise an Easter egg hunt or something similar but the vicar won't be planning, buying for or running it.
