Astrology: who are you compatible with.

without giving too much away here, have proved that astrology is a load of old tosh....because according to the books my boss and his wife are a strange pairing and not such a good match...btw they've been married for 38 years(same star signs are me and ex-boss) how believes this rubbish...used to but DON'T!!!!

Tammybear, being cancer is just your sun sign. There is alot more to your birth chart than just cancer, therefore you could well have a good relationship with a fellow cancerian. There are polar opposites to signs though, like I am a Virgo and my polar opposite is Pisces. Have found Piscean males not a good match for me - but have had afew good Piscean woman friends.

hello papillion ( a fellow virgo)and everyone else

i am virgo(sun)scorpio/libra(moon) with leo/virgo ascendant
my dp is scorpio (sun)/pisces(moon) with virgo ascend.(were opposites and sames all intertwined)
we have loads in common but p**s each other off lots too

chandra i was nearly born on virgo leo cusp too which wouldve been cool(id've be all elements fire earth air and water)but mum didnt push hard enough!!lol
does anyone else have scorpio moon -it makes me v.jealous and tempremental if i dont keep it in check!

my ds is a virg too and was pleased when i realised dd had virg moon!

chandra of course you can be a mix of two signs if youre born on or near cusp(i am),just read both the scopes and take your pick!!

I used to be VERY into astrology and like gothic mama & lou33 say, there is a lot more to it. Your birth chart will reveal details that affect your personality to the extent that you may not resemble your sunsign very much e.g. if you're a fire sign and have lots of water signs in other areas of your life.

Has anyone read Love Signs by Linda Goodman. Best astrologer I've come across but sadly passed away some time ago. This book has been read by some of my friends and all say it is eerily accurate. It deals with both female and male sunsigns so is a little more detailed than your average compatibility book. Even if you don't believe the stuff it's a fun read!

BTW I'm an Aries and DH is a Taurean. Not good, but we've been together for almost 10yrs!!

Jampot, take a look at the Astrology shop in Covent Garden, they do all sorts of charts. i've had them done for DS1 & DS2.

do what you did then put \title} and the link will come up as title. if that made sense. you get the hang of it. took me forever to learn

Ive just done my birth chart (thanks tinytoes) I think most of it is true. So how do you know what kind of person you're compatible with as there are so many different signs

tere are some programs that allow you to compare charts dont think i know a site for one-will look later found this some of it looks like rubbish but you might find something good

Richa, astro.com is a good site isn't it. Its the one I posted earlier. Just select your language of choice (english i guess) then you can get Free Charts.

Linda Goodman - her book was/is very well known and easy to read.
Tammybear probably best you have a read of a site that has information about polar opposites and that have explanations of what the different planets, signs mean.

Thank you for the website reference, it is a brilliant site.

I have a book called "Do it yourself Astrology" by Lyn Birkbeck and it is quite uncanny, practically the same as the site - I thoroughly recommend it.
