Anyone at a stage of exploring/discerning a call to ordination?

No away this week. I'm one of the MN interlopers, no actual children!

And I missed the first one! This is very weird.

I think we are all in the same diocese, my husband is a curate who will be ordained priest this summer. The discernment process was long for him but he would agree that it was right that it took so long. He had a theology degree so that reduced his training by a year.

It's felt long going, but I've been talking it though with people for the best part of 14 years now. I just always talk myself out of it before actually commiting to anything like the Signpost course or talking to anyone other than parish priest and DDO.
