An ode to rose quartz!

...well, I'd happily dedicate one to it if I was any kind of poet!
Just a good story .
I've often used rose quartz throughout my life, I find it suits me! Helps me feel grounded and stress free. It saw me through my exams as a teen with relatively little tension, I'm sure!
But, here's the amazing bit.....
I have trouble conceiving, when a friend bought me rose quartz (to encourage fertility), I conceived that night - so passed it onto my SIL who conceived the night I gave it to her! Sadly she miscarried, I gave her a rose quartz bracelet during this time and she conceived again the night I gave that to her!
Can anyone tell of any other 'phenomenons' relating to any form of 'alternative' healing?

Not entirely sure, but I got a little rose quartz tree for my sister as part of her Christmas and she has been a lot happier since then. Her life was a bit of a mess before regarding a prat of a husband, and although she was getting herself back on track, she has been so much happier in these last few months.

This could be complete coincidence or due to the fact that she sold her house, bought another one (which she loves) and has also met a very nice man

I like to think I had a little hand in it by giving her that tree though

Saw this lovely thread. As I would love another child bought a rose quartz bracelet last week - sadly period started today but was probably too late in my cycle. Bracelet is beautiful though - lots of people have commented on it - also bought myself a little rose quartz angel to protect us all.

Oh wellsie poor you, you will find some of these threads very helpful . The following is lifted from one of the websites that we have found helpful with crystal :

Light to strong pink, opaque or translucent, and somewhat brittle. Sometimes called the "love stone", it eases emotional and sexual imbalances, while helping to clear out stored anger, resentment, guilt, fear and jealousy. neetmassi and wellsie, I hope rose quartz will work it's magic for you . I really feel it will !
It was realy interesting for me to read the description of rose quartz and it's attributes - I've never read anything about it before, just found that it did exactly what the description says! Plus, funnily enough, some always seems to find it's way to me when I need it!

Have just bought a rose quartz heart pendant as it was so beautiful - also bought an amethyst one - does anybody know what amethyst is good for? Also has anybody herad of unkalite or know what it's good for - i have been given an unkalite bracelet.

Can someone tell me where I'm likely to find some rose quartz and, if I just buy a crystal, do I need to do anything with it? I'm going to be having another round of fertility treatment soon and anything is worth trying! Thanks.

DelGirl have you ever tried acupunture or reflexology as a form of fertility assistance. Have read here on MN about this, no experience myself - but from wot I read it sounded worth trying!

Thanks papillon. I did have a reflexology session the day before my 1st (initially) successful insemination. I hoped to have another one on my last go which also was initially successful but I couldnt get booked in. Do you think 1 treatment is enough? I was also thinking about having reiki too, but i'm not sure. My late husband had reiki treatment along side his chemo and he just said he felt incredibly peaceful. I really don't know.

imo anything that makes you feel peaceful and relaxed would help with the fertility treatment.

Don´t know any more about the reflexiology - I will try and find the link for the thread about it for you.
