Baptism question

DS2 is being baptised in August by which time he will be 9 months old. I'm not wanting to spend a fortune on christening robes, so, does anyone know where I can buy some at a reasonable price, or can you suggest an alternative?

Not really set on christening robes, infact, I would rather he didn't wear them - I agree they look ott for all but very small babies and girls

Lisa ds2 is being christened on Sunday and I've got his outfit from vertbaudet. Here is the link .

He looks so cute in it and I don't like all the fancy stuff.

Codswallop · 22/04/2004 19:05

No lisa and Ima vicars daughter!

Codswallop · 22/04/2004 19:06

KERUTE flip

frogs · 22/04/2004 19:17

There are lots of cute little boys' outfits from my favourite online posh clothes shop, The Children's Salon .

Lisa78 · 22/04/2004 19:21

thanks Frogs but I don't think I'd pay £80 or so for an outfit for him, especially in silk, I'd be terrified he would be sick on it!!!
Like the link Flip (hows the bum today? Any news on appointment?) - I may well go with something like that, he'll look lovely in that

Didn't know that Coddy, so naturally, you are a complete trollop and a good liar?!

My ds is being christened this Sunday too, I bought him a lovely pair of navy trousers and a great top to go with a cream cardi and I've lost them!! I think I threw them away during a very infrequent tidy up!! So, navy cords it is to be then
