If an Anglo Catholic priest is fully against the ordiantion of women, is it possible he is also against women speaking in a church service at all?

In highly conservative churches women are only allowed to teach women and I suspect that would extend to worship groups but a I'm not in that world I'm no expert.

It all gets very confusing as there are two groups that object to women priests and they are from very different traditions in the church. So you very catholic Anglicans object to women as Jesus was a man and thus only men can be priests (I simplify but that is the heart of it) so in those sorts of churches you might have women doing everything else except being a priest.

The very protestant churches object to women in leadership. They are highly suspicious of the word priest so their pastors are always men because they take some verses from letters by Paul literally. Paul wrote those letters to a specific church at a specific moment in time so it is a bit like a headteacher emailing his senior staff whilst he is on a conference and saying that 'the boys should not be allowed to play football' which is because there has been an incident and for this week it is not appropriate for them to be doing games. But that headteacher does not expect that email to be taken as meaning all boys and for all time in his school.

Whether women lead worship or bible study to mixed male and female groups and at what age it is no longer appropriate for boys to be taught by women comes down to custom and practice at those churches.

Hope that helps.
