Cosmic Ordering

FrigginRexManningDay · 24/08/2013 10:20

My friend is really into it and says it works for her. I'm a bit skeptical.
So I'm asking the lovely vipers people of MN to help me with a completely unscientific experiment.
Place your cosmic order, think positive and we'll see who gets what they asked for.

Is cosmic ordering like lining up your socks in accordance with astrology?
Confused

LillethTheCat · 26/08/2013 20:51

Just had to pop on to tell you Im half way through a film and a yellow balloon keeps appearing. Sometimes on its own, sometimes with others, but there is never any other colour balloon showing on its own, just yellow.

BTW I do love my 13 reg white Land Rover Wink

Hope your DS is happy and healthy for many years to come Minmooch

TheSpork there are many facets to your questions and there are actually forums where people are much more qualified to answer them than I will ever be. I don't have all the answers by far.
Basically as I understand it the premise is what we think about, we bring about, and it isn't that the Universe is being picky in just giving us our yellow balloons etc it is also responding to people who are putting out say stress by bringing them more stress for example.
Which is why doubt has no place in LOA because if what you think about you bring about, you're only going to get more doubt by doing this.
This is why its important to think about what you do want and not what you don't want.
So if your partner focuses on where he wants to live near his kids, that is easy and acceptable to him (forget the pain completely) and imagines how life will be living there, looks for houses etc and asks and lets go etc then the Universe will move things about to make that happen.
I'm no expert on this, I can only tell you what works for me and has done for many years. Whether people think this is bollocks is entirely their right.
This is just what I do.
There are many more qualified people than me who can answer your questions on oppression, starving masses etc and I can point you to forums where they would be happy to answer your questions if you like.
The balloon thing is a fun way of building your confidence and flexing your muscles in this. That's all.

SirRaymondClench · 26/08/2013 21:06

Mumtorobbie you're getting good at this Grin
What will you ask for next?

Waffly yeah it probably is. But what colour socks? Wink

Lilleth I still miss that Landrover Disco it was ace. It was even better because I had ordered it so to me it was really special.

You haven't answered my question at all. I didn't ask how it worked, I got that. My questions are: how is it desirable to believe in a Universe that only chooses to intervene with people who visualize things the correct way, why would I want to think that the Universe will give me things for properly thinking about it when it obviously won't intervene for others who are in far greater need (my business vs. the chemical attack last week where hundreds of people including children died), and how can you reconcile a belief in a Universe that intervenes on positive thoughts and being without any doubt or stress in an abundant world whose abundance is being stopped - not by the universe - but by people who set up, maintain, and prevent the removal of systems of oppression and power? I mean, I'm a panentheist, the Universe and beyond is my standing ground, but to believe that the Universe intervenes for those it deems to have thought in a proper fashion and ignores people because of quite reasonable doubts and stress in an unfair world, a world that people have created to be even further unfair for their own benefit...to me that would be a nightmare reality. How would that kind of world be something that anyone would want? Never mind whether or not it's bollocks, I don't get how anyone could align that to any ethical or philosophical worldview beyond themselves. I can get wanting the Universe to give you things, but the idea it only gives you things if you align your thinking properly...to me that just reminds me of victim blaming and those prosperity pastors talking about just speaking yourself rich and well.

Also, my DP does live with us and his kids, he just can't get on the floor to play with them because it's too painful. He'd love to forget the pain completely, but he can't remember what not being in pain is like...which would make visualizing it a bit awkward I guess. Seeing as pain is a major issue, I don't get why that's the bit the Universe would want us to ignore.

SirRaymondClench · 26/08/2013 22:02

TheSpork And you didn't read my reply at all,
I don't care whether you believe in this way of thinking or not, you can think whatever you like. It has nothing to do with me.
I also struggle to read the huge swathe of writing in one big block. I'm not getting into some argument with you about it because it doesn't matter to me one bit whether you believe in this or not.
I am not some guru on the subject as I've said many times over, this is just what I think and how I live and that is my business. Not for me to defend to anyone else.
I can happily point you in the right direction if you want to have all this out with people much more qualified and willing to argue the toss with you.
But for the record I don't happen to think there is anything wrong with thinking that if I feel gratitude for the life I have and feel lucky about my health, happiness etc and ask for what else I would like to happen in life, there is anything wrong with that. But that is just me.

SisterMonicaJoan · 26/08/2013 22:11

I've always been interested in this subject and this thread has inspired me to start! I ordered a notebook because I wanted to write my wishes down and to have something to refer back to but last night I decided to visualise a yellow balloon....

....visited a National Trust park today, parked up and waited while DH went to use the loo - a car parked next to us, some people got out and I wasn't taking much notice but as I casually looked around, I noticed on the floor of the car was 2 balloons; one pink and one YELLOW!!

Can't wait to try more wishes out!

Thank you universe!! (And SirRaymond!)

SoleSource · 27/08/2013 00:57

I have just seen a yellow balloon on the movie Eastern Promises tonight on BBC1.

Does that count?

Grin
SirRaymondClench · 27/08/2013 09:42

SisterMonica Yay! That's great! Grin now keep going with your orders!

Sole a balloon is a ballon whether it's in your living room, on tv, in a book, a drawing...Smile

dontcallmehon · 27/08/2013 11:08

OK - well I order some things. One person who I wanted to regret the mean thing he had done got in touch the next day and I gleefully ignored him. I didn't ask for a yellow balloon, but I did read the thread and had it in my mind. The next day, my brother asked if he could take my dds to the park and came back with a huge yellow balloon!

SoleSource · 27/08/2013 11:27

Oh great /SirRaymondas I did order this yesterday Grin

I'm quite into this and have for a while but I do doubt the universe too as something totally positive for me has been so rare I often felt that I might be just one of those people that just don't deserve anything very good.

I have t put a stop to this and I have been trying for a long time now.

I love this thread

SirRaymondClench · 27/08/2013 11:32

Sole you deserve everything good in your life, we all do. PLease don't doubt that. If it helps make a list of all the positive things in your life. It really does help to be grateful for what you already have (from having hot running water and a roof over your head, to a car that works and petrol etc)
And keep asking for little things like the balloon, it helps build confidence and puts you on the right path.

TrollyDolly1 · 27/08/2013 13:01

Thank you for this thread. I read the secret a while ago and felt so positive after reading it. I have been thinking for a while that I need to re read my book.

So, I have just asked for a yellow ballon. I can't believe it, a party invite has just been dropped of for DS. There, pride of place in the middle of the invitation. A yellow ballon!

SoleSource · 27/08/2013 13:30

Tay Trolly Grin

SirRaymondClench · 27/08/2013 13:48

Trolly That's ace! Grin If you liked the book have you seen the film? You can see it on Netflix (you can get a free 30 day trial and then cancel)

TrollyDolly1 · 27/08/2013 13:55

I have got Netflix. I use it alot. Off to search the secret now. Thanks! Grin

babyhammock · 27/08/2013 15:15

SirRaymond Help please :)
I'm very good at bringing good stuff into mine and DS's life.... but I'm not very good at getting rid of the bad stuff just one thing. Top tips please... xx

DorisShutt · 27/08/2013 15:31

Random question... (Or not!)

I've asked for a yellow balloon, but I can't "let it go" I keep specifically looking for one IYSWIM - like I need it validated?

How can I let it go?

squoosh · 27/08/2013 15:32

I'm the same, I'm like a loon looking for a yellow balloon even though I know I'm supposed to be all cool about it.

squoosh · 27/08/2013 15:40

Just after I posted that the person called yellowballoons popped up again on one of my threads.

I think I'm going to accept that they are my 'yellow balloon' and now think of something else . . . . . . . . . . ok next thing I want to see is a man in a red turban.

SirRaymondClench · 27/08/2013 15:45

Ok

Babyhammock what exactly do you mean when you say getting rid of the bad stuff, give me an example and I will try and help.

Doris by 'letting it go' I mean trusting that it will happen and kind of being aware but not constantly searching for it. This stage is important because any desperation or stress etc attached to the thing you want to happen becomes a barrier to it manifesting. It's attaching a whole other energy to it and what you want is a nice, relaxed easy going energy because you know it's going to happen. Like if you phone for a pizza now. You don't keep phoning them every 2 minutes asking did they get your order, are they bringing it etc. You know it's coming, so you just keep an ear out for the door for when they knock.
The yellow balloon is a good practicing tool. Once you've seen one, thank the Universe for it and move on to something else. Don't get stressed about it. It's also meant to be fun Smile

SirRaymondClench · 27/08/2013 15:46

Squoosh ha! you are really testing out the Universe! Grin The idea of these items like a yellow balloon is to build your confidence in the method of asking. Keep it simple to start with.

squoosh · 27/08/2013 15:48

Ok maybe a man in a red turban is a bit ambitious, I'll try something more mundane . . . . .

SirRaymondClench · 27/08/2013 15:55

Can I just say, you are all getting your yellow balloons extremely fast. Which is great! I wanted to tell you I always give myself 3 days in which to see something. It takes any pressure off and becomes a bit like a game I am playing with myself.
I look forward to seeing whatever it is.

TrollyDolly1 · 27/08/2013 17:50

I am going to watch the film tonight to refresh my understanding. Then I shall write my list. Have I understood it correctly so far - for example, I would like a nice house in a nice area with a garden for DS to play in. Do I have to ask for it - and then believe it will happen? See myself there, happy and content. What about a time frame?
