My friend is really into it and says it works for her. I'm a bit skeptical.
So I'm asking the lovely vipers people of MN to help me with a completely unscientific experiment.

Well I haven't seen my penguin yet but I have seen a man in a red turban which was my first choice!

Huge inflatable that fell off the back of a lorry on the Liverpool Victoria insurance advert. About five minutes before that I had just read some posts on this thread and thought, Oh no I haven't seen my penguin!

There he was I'm so happy

He is very strong willed thought this one and has another woman in his mind to marry, will it work?

Sole you have put a load of doubty things underneath what you wrote.

The best thing to do is something like this:

I am so happy and grateful now that I have a loving husband and we are in love and happy together.

Then the Universe will bring you the right man. This guy you might get him but he might turn out to be a bell-end (remember be careful what you wish for) and then you're stuck with him. If you ask for the above you'll get the right man, which the guy you're talking about may or may not be.

I wouldn't be stuck with him, I would leave. I don't really know him that well.

Wow! I've just seen a blue and yellow hot air balloon!

I just wanted to say that i have been lurking on this thread and decided to take SirRaymond's challenge and ask for a balloon.

Today I went to the shops and one coffee shop had about 30 balloons in silver and gold outside. I have never, ever seen balloons there before.

Now to order some really good stuff.

I got my penguin last night too, I saw a penguin clock in a shop window. Now I'll try and ask for something for me!

I've just realised that the balloon was meant to be yellow. I presume the universe sent gold as a warm up

That's brilliant squoosh though I am slightly disappointed as I was hoping to hear that you had an encounter with a runaway penguin in your local town centre

If it really worked surely everyone would be lottery winners?

I know I would have pretty impressed to have seen a real live penguin! Maybe my powers will be strong enough to summon one at will in a fortnight's time

Mirai what you should do then is rather than looking at the bigger picture so you need to (and believe me I know this isn't as easy as it sounds) start feeling abundant. Try not to worry about who does what and when and know that you will be ok in the end.

I am so happy and grateful for all the abundance in my life. Money flows to us easily and freely.

If you focus on debt you'll get more of that so focus on feeling wealthy and abundant and before too long some amazing things start happening.
You must write down all the things you are grateful for now and feel good about your life. Live the abundance like it's now.
I have definitely been where your DH (and you are) now and I did the above. Life is very different for me now (in a good way). Hang in there!
Also do not worry about the whys and whens and whos when doing the above, it's not your job, let the Universe sort all that out.

SirRaymond Yes when I thought about it later I did ask for a yellow balloon but when I saw some gold ones I got all excited and was very nearly run over as I stared at them and forgot all about the yellow bit.

I think it's probably a bit of a stretch to say they were yellow rather than gold but my guess it that this was just a test.

The moral of the story is that I need to write down what I ask for so that I can't be tricked into accepting something sub-standard sent by the universe in future just because I'm too tired to remember what I said

For the larger, life changing requests do you just ask once or do you ask again after a certain period of time?

So I've also seen yellow balloons and some penguins (completely random trip to the Sealife centre) and it has worked for me on so many different occasions in the past

Well, there was a sickeningly handsome tall, dark, hunk of a man who sat directly in front of me on my way to work this morning. (he was also dressed REALLY well) I zoned into LOA and (in my head) I said "Dear Universe I am so happy and grateful this incredibly handsome man in front of me in dark blue jeans, brown shoes, dark hair and reading a paper has just asked me for my phone number" I imagined us together, I imagined him asking me. I was totally in the zone.
He didn't ask I don't think it works underground

High I don't put a period of time in my requests for bigger things because I think when time is a factor you can start allowing doubts to creep in 'Why isn't it here yet, I've only got till next week...' and doubts block things coming.
So do all the steps and just allow yourself to 'day dream' about whatever it is every so often. Practice feeling abundant and being grateful for what you have and allow it to come to you.

Is anyone doing this for car parking spaces yet? I've not been able to drive for weeks but when I am driving I always do LOA for parking spaces.
