Tarot Readers

Hi - I was going to change my name for this but have decided against it.

Today I went to see a Tarot reader as it is my birthday soon and just fancied a bit of insight/reflection for the following year. Had a pleasant enough reading but then statred to talk about relationships etc. I have had a horrible 18 months - 2 years with H re another woman, lies, secrets etc. Basically this reader told me that H has cheated before, will cheat again, has lied about the relationsip and that basically I should get out.

It wasn't quite so overt but he was basically telling me that I should leave H and that so was my dead grandfather. Now I am usually a sensible sort and I see no reason to break up the marriage abd destry DD's life on the say so of a tarot reader - BUT - I do have my doubts - I am confused - and he mentioned my dead brother who I haven't thought about in years ( I was only 3 when he died)and got his initial right.

I have been trying to rebuild my marriage after an awful couple of years but now I wonder if it's worth it.

Somebody please be a good friend and slap me and tell me to snap out of it - that's what I'd do if somebody else told me this - BUT - I just can't shake the feeling that he might be right.

Spirit has no concept of time so for him to say this will happen on such and such a date was wrong.
I had one reading were she said you'll be were you want to be by whatever date, that date has been and gone and I still have no idea what she was on about.
I use someone else now and he is fantastic.

For those of you who know about the tarot - Is the Tower card always bad - and is it inevitable?

Thanks to everyone for their reples on this matter.

There's no card that's 'always bad'.

Tarot is a tool to guide you, not tell you what exactly is going to happen by XYZ date, what happens is dependent on so many things, including the power of your own mind.

I have always seen the tower card not as a 'bad' card but more of a warning that maybe you are not being as honest with yourself as you should be. Maybe you need to admit somethign to yourself or change your opinion on something - stuff like that. Maybe if you keep hiding from yourself your tower will come tumbling down around you, after all its very isolating and lonely at the top of your tower so the best thing in the end is for the walls to fall down and let people in. Cant really remember much though havent looked at cards for ages!
