The detail of why they put up with it won't matter too much. It's just to insert some religion somewhere.

Joseph, you know the one with the coat. His brothers sold him into slavery, but he did well and his master promoted him. then his master's wife accused him of trying it on with her and he ended up in jail. Then he interpreted one of pharaohs dreams and ended up pharaohs right hand man. The story is in the Genesis.

but they will have read harry potter. it could be very powerful to make the link to fiction...especially if you use a clip of the film, which I have not seen so don't know if it is any good. get them to draw the links.

alternatively use lion the witch and the wardrobe.

you have not said which age group you are talking to, nor their background.

you can if you link it to the Bible. I was not saying do not use the bible, but use something that will illustrate the message. if it is only for a job interview and not to real teenagers it does not matter at all as much. if it ws for job interview, I would be looking t something even more contemporary to use with teenagers.

you have not said what age teenagers you are aiming at. there is a big difference between 13 and 18
