How do you celebrate the Pagan festivals?

Really want to start doing little things to mark the festivals, but as none of my other family members are Pagan that limits me a little. So really I'm after inspiration for things to do on my own, or things to do with family that aren't overtly Pagan.

So what do you do? Who do you celebrate with? And which one do you enjoy most?

I'm not a Pagan myself so I'm going mostly on what I've read, but perhaps a good spread/mini feast? I think celebrating with good food etc., was a traditional component of the major Pagan festivals (but I am basing this on books and literature read over a decade ago, wine might have clouded my memory!).

I can't see that anyone would be worried about a particularly good family meal being 'overtly Pagan' And if you're marking the solstices you could make the feast seasonal. Extra fun in the kitchen!

Which festivals are you thinking of? We could go through the traditional celebrations and find a way to make them fit with you and your family?

I do small things as I am in the same situation. Mostly reflective diaries I go over, leaving a bowl of apples in the garden at Samhain, pagan like cards at Easter for imbolc

Meals are definitely a good idea :)
