my friend got christend cof e before she was confirmed aged 14 so you'll be fine!

TambaTheDragonSlayer · 17/01/2006 11:33

I was christened CofE when I was 20

WigWamBam · 17/01/2006 11:33

You can be baptised as an adult, so I can't see it would be a problem.

georginars · 17/01/2006 11:37

my brother got christened 2 years ago at the age of 41! so would not be a problem at all. and all the people i know who are getting their babies christened seem to be waiting until they're at least 18 months

NomDePlume · 17/01/2006 11:38

was just about to post about adult baptisms, but you guys have beaten me to it

I did mine together - ds2 was 1 (to the day!), and ds1 was 3 and a bit.

ds1 fell of the stage bit bringing the lecturn down with him....

There are advantages to doing them when young .

LOL - Ladymuck!
Do you all attend church regularly? I must confess I don't. Would this be a problem?

It will depend on the vicar... many like you to attend for a few weeks before the baptism. My dh requires parents to attend a 4 week course which is done during the service. SOme vicars are stricter, then some are very very lax... so it all depends.

That'll be lovely having a double Christening, we've had a few in our church and they're always really sweet!!
