I would like to read a can't put it down book that inspires the pants off me. I don't want anything religious or dogmatic. I'd love some recommendations. Thank you!

On becoming a person by Carl Rogers

Mans search for meaning by Victor Frankl

Both life changing for me but read the reviews on amazon before you decide for you Smile

Ok, got an easier read - I loved Lesley Garner's "Everything I've ever done that worked" and have given it to quite a few people.

linky £5.84

Really inspirational and practical.

I'm not quite sure what you're after because you've posted in this section but don't want spirituality. Are you looking for a self help book or just an inspiring read?

So... Have you ever read Uncle Tom's Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe? It's fiction obviously but nothing I've read has hit me so hard since I can remember. It made me do a lot of thinking - specifically about how little I do about the things that I say matter to me. It changed me a bit on the inside iykwim.

Try 'Mr God, This Is Anna'. It's more of a pause-for-thought book than inspirational, really.

How about 'To Kill A Mockingbird'? That was really unputdownable, and inspirational.
