No read abit of this though as I am a real sceptic. Having laid out hundreds of people myself I always know there is nothing there any more no communication, no spirit, no anything. They were dead and not one of them ever communicated anything else to me.

On the other hand I did communicate wiht my gran all the way through my pregnancy of dd 1 who is named after her. She was most definaely a presence and calmed me down when I was worried. As soon as dd was born she disappeared.

Read a little about him.
He is clearly a well educated and highly intelligent man. I wonder about Rev Ted Noffs though and how much his charismatic and energetic approach has influenced Victor? I would like to think that Victor Zammit is the type of person not to allow himself to go along with big concepts without serious research and personal involvement, but form personal experience (albeit relatively limited) in the more extreme evangelical churches, spiritualism etc I do wonder a little.
Still, I think that the book would make great reading. It is on my "to read ASAP" list - unfortunately growing in length all the time.

Papillon - have you read this yourself/know much about him? Love to know what someone else thinks about him.

Glitterfairy he speaks of the difference between a ?heart to heart? connection a love connection, which is a positive energy vibration and so a spirit not in its human form can visit those they have that connection with. So while the body is dead the spirit continues.

If there is no relationship, no connection of love - like you would have experienced in the hospital then alot less chance of connection (unless I guess you have openly aware psyhic and medium skills at connecting to other realms)

Does the spirit of a person return to visit loved ones?

XmasPud - no I have not read this book. I have just been forwarded the website address by my MIL whose dh died about 1 month ago now. They are interested in alot of things you would read in this magazine.
I don´t know Rev Ted Noff, do you know much about him? Sure Victor is influenced like everyone is, by something or someone. Still reading through the site atm.

I did astral travel to both my grandmother and FIL after the died and made connections with them both. After connecting with FIL the other day I felt a presence in the house, a heavy energy about which lasted 2 days. I also know or feel that my Granny comes and visits me.

OK Paps I understand that then. I did not experience my gran as a ghost but as a presence which spoke to me but not in her voice. It was all very reassuring and wonderful as I was ill and had lost my first baby.

I remember calling her three weeks after the birth as I was alone and trying to bf without much success and I knew she had gone away.

Some of the names of these writers put me off as they sound made up!

that last link I gave... the info I was referring to was 3/4 down the page...

Just been reading about the Wayside Chapel, which Rev Ted Noffs is part of - W.C. - I like the Switzerland touch - oh perhaps this is the link you were expecting? the non flushing version of W.C.

I love the quote at bottom of the home page... reminds me of the Yurt and what we do there Glitter

Love the earth and sun and the animals, despise riches, give alms to everyone that asks, stand up for the stupid and crazy, devote your income and labor to others, hate tyrants .. re-examine all you have been told in school or church or in any book, and dismiss whatever insults your own soul; and your very flesh shall be a great poem..

pap - influence is a tricky one as it doesn?t negate or invalidate the POV but it does imply that if you have arrived at your opinions via a third party directing/influencing you to make your conclusions, then there is an added dimension to consider depending on circumstances.
I read a fair bit about Rev Noff a while ago thanks to a Canadian friend who had met him on her travels. Can?t remember much of the details but I do remember feeling a little anxious about the level of enthusiasm and tone of what she was saying. The phrases she was using sounded very out of character for my friend and I felt she had been "sucked in" a little - as in she had been carried away with her emotional judgement rather than taken time to consider the ideas put across and make an objective opinion. Which is why it fascinates me that someone with Victor?s background should feel the same way. If you compare the style and language of Victor?s writing pre and post Noff I think it could be quite revealing.
Well, better get back to cleaning, my dusty, creaky brain is complaining

Just realised the book is free on the website to read.
