Jew gone wrong

What have I done? I'm unmarried, I have a child with a man who's not a Jew. My son is uncircumcised. I have tattoos. :(

I don't even know what to do to make it right anymore. I want to get involved with the community again but it's very small (maybe 100 in 100 mile radius) and they're going to think I'm an arsehole for all of the above. :(

At our shul (which is a Masorti one) there are converts, those mid conversion and conventionally Jewish.

As one of the other posters mentioned, it would be good to volunteer to help with something such as setting out the kiddush, manning a phone line or hospital visiting if you want to get involved. Perhaps your partner might attend social events such as a fundraising quiz that the shul might have.

I'm very interested to hear about the shortage of young Jewish men in NY by the way. I have a lovely 22 year old son due to finish Uni in June next year ...... Now I know where to send him.
