That's it really. I've put my name down for a reiki course and when the lady called me with dates etc, she told me that she was going to start with the psychic awareness, for the first six weeks.

Well, firstly you don't really need to do or know anything psychic with a reiki course.
You may well be introduced to relaxation and meditation.
Psychic awareness is like using your own intuition, gut instincts etc People pick up vibes about things all day long, sometimes people are more 'tuned' in and aware of their feelings/sensations etc, sometimes people are not. I take it you haven't asked what is involved, in which case you are in for an adventure/surprise. Hope you enjoy it. Wink

I predict that you are about to become a bit poorer, and probably develop some food intolerences.

Thank you both. For the record, it'll cost me £3 a session which I'm quite happy to pay Smile

£3, that's a bargain!

Pwsimerimew · 13/09/2010 22:02

I knows!

I agree with Indigo, I can teach Reiki (although I don't) and although I would start with some meditation I wouldn't include psychic awareness, it's not everyone's bag.

£3/session - only being charged for tea and biccies. Lovely!

i am a little, mmm, curious!

Take care,,,

Me too spiritmum, maybe it's time we started. I know I will teach it one day, just haven't got moving on it yet. Smile

£3 a session maybe but if that's for every spirit you manage to locate could be pricey Grin

I'm with Colditz (and predict a dairy allergy).

I've got Reiki I and it was a one day course, maybe she'll introduce you to the basics like the chakras, etc.

As reiki is working with energy, it's a good idea to get a bit of "general knowledge" in if it's all new to you.

Reiki can also be used on yourself, so that 3 quid is a great investment, I reckon...

Enjoy it!

Thank you Aminata.

I would expect to get ripped off.

I think wheat intolerance is more likely than dairy. Wheat = "bloating" and feeling uncomfortable. Dairy = farting and diarrhoea. One is easier to convince people they have than the other.
