cherry is 12 weeks old, she is adorable, toilet ttrained, walking n icely (ish) not quite mastered recall. but she constantly attacks feet (not mine) dh and dc, they are starting to get a bit fed up of having their feet constantly bitten, any ideas, or will she just stop, I do realise it is a normal puppy phase.
I have started to take her for 2 15min walks a day, energy wise she could do with a lot more but not supposed to walk more than 5 mins per mnths, also try and do 2 5min traininng sessions a day.
she is very lively, when we are out she is constanlty jumping up at people and I am working on stopping that alth9ough it doesn't help that every passer by stops and encourages her.
I am also aware that since this seems to be the only problem (touch wood) so far that we are incredibly blessed, she is a gorgeous uppy just very excitable and bity.

It is a nightmare when puppies do this some do it more than others!

Does she attack feet, socks or shoes?

Does she always do it or is it a certain time of day?

The basic principal is to remove her without words when she does it and replace her when calm. However sometimes it may be easier to prevent it from happening. eg if the DC are playing she is not allowed to be near them, if it is in the evening when she is having her mad puppy half hour take her away from the kids.

The other thing the DC could try is to always have a toy with them and the minute she goes for their toes give her the toy. A great toy for some puppies is an old sock stuffed full of the odd socks that always seem to be around.

Sometimes it is a sign of being a little over stressed and removing the puppy and putting them in a quiet place and a time to chill often helps.

thanks, I have been tryiong the quiet place, I think it is when she gets a bit over tired, generally I don't let her through where the dc are she comes in the lounge, mainly dh that it's driving bonkers, is shoes, socks, slippers and feet (anything stinky I think)

Yes I think it probably is the overtired bit but have a toy handy and shove that in her mouth when she does it. But you can quarantee that she will do it when you just want to chill out and not play with a puppy!
