seeing as I'm snowed in and can't get to the shop to get any....

They've got food, water, veggies and paper to sleep on / in

Are they inside or outside? If they're outside, they need to eat lots of hay to keep them warm - mine is eating around four handfuls a day at the moment, on top of her food and veggies. Even if not, they need a constant supply of roughage to nibble on. For a quick stop-gap, give them cardboard toilet roll or kitchen roll tubes to munch on, it won't do them any harm at all (as long as it isn't the white type - just plain brown, undyed, uncoated cardboard). But you really need to get some hay ASAP. Blinkin snow!

All rabbit/gp types need to keep forage going through their gut all the time. If that stops it can be very serious.

Good luck x

will go on a hay seeking mission

I am pleased to report the hay seeking mission was a success lol

I'm going to get it from my mum's local ironmongers from now on - £2 70 for an enormous bale of really good quslity hay (compared to PAH hay, that is)

I can't believe the poor quality of PAH hay recently. I've had two bales in the past week that have been really bad - full of hard spikey pieces that stab you - I've ended up drawing blood pretty much every time I've been in the hutch! I gave up and filled the GP's bed up with grass yesterday instead, as it's much softer. Paranoid about her poking her eye out!

Um, I would just like to point out that I don't mean I've literally 'been in the hutch'

I tend to live in the house mostly!

Not judging you, MrsL. Not judging...
