Have a Border Terrier pup aged 11 weeks. Current favs are digging under the fence, chewing trousers and eating stones. On the plus side, she is great at night (sleeping 10.30 - 5.30 and doesn't wee), seems to love her crate and is so cuddly.

Took her to Pets at Home this morning and everyone made a fuss of her (ticked off the man with a beard on the socialisation chart).

Anyone else?

LOL ski socks Sherbert!

I'm so glad it's not just me!

Last week in the hot weather, I was getting my bare feet and ankles nipped, and now it's trouser legs. Ski socks are a great idea.

She is doing it less (I think) but in the evenings she goes crazy and has her manic half hour - she runs past me and snaps/grabs whatever she can get hold of on the way past.

We are saying 'no' and stopping the game/time in the garden when she does it. Persevering.

We don't have a tag for her collar yet but this is a priority just in case she escapes. Fence is pretty good but she can squeeze through such tiny spaces.

Good to know that you are both seeing improvements!

Picked Daphne up from the Toilettage. When DH saw the photo that I sent he answered, "ooooooooh pretty"

Before and after pics on my profile.

She is actually quite good at not chewing things, the only thing that she snatches is socks and the occasional underpants.

I let her off leash this morning and she went into a garden. I had to go in after her as she would not come back and if the bloody grumpy owner of the house had not chased her then she probably would have come back to me ok. He was really rude and did not even look at me when I shouted that I was sorry. Will keep her on leash around that way for the time being.

Does anyone else find that their dog slavers a lot in the car? She does not do it elsewhere and it has only been since it got warmer. I need to put a towel on my seat if I leave her for a couple of moments in the car as she jumps on my seat and gets it all wet. Yuk.

Oh, and we need a harness/seat belt thing. She went flying off the seat into the footwell yesterday, poor wee thing when I had to break suddenly. Anyone got a good supplier?

Aw, she's lovely MmeLindt!

Watching with interest to see if anyone has a seatbelt recommendation - haven't worked out how I'm going to take her in the car on my own yet (so far one of us drives and the other holds her)

I have a tag on Alfies collar as i'm worried he might get out and he's not being micro chipped till he gets the snip (on vets advice). I got Alfie a tag out of the machine at Pets at Home and it was rubbish, no space for anything and the colour started to come off at the edges after 3 weeks.
So i got him a Red Dingo one which is lovely. Nice and chunky, looks expensive and great quality. I got medium and can fit on my surname, house no., post code and phone number. Lots of colours and designs as well i got the paw print in light blue . I got mine from dfordog as they engrave as well. (not plugging them for any reason other then very happy with purchase).

We have only had one accident today as the back door has been open the whole time and he goes out if it is. If he's not in the kitchen or dining room it doesn't matter if its open or not though!!! I think were going to put in a doggy door so we don't have to have the door open constantly.
