Whiskas/Felix/Iams/Purina what do you feed your cat?

She's always been a Whiskas kid. However she gave birth last week and she's been on Purina One kitten food for the last 2 months.
She absolutely hates Felix pouches and terrines.

The Purina isn't on offer anymore so have bought her Iams 1+ and she loves that too.
Why are all dried kitten foods chicken and rice flavoured?

But the Whiskas rabbit pouch, Sainsburys value tuna tins and pilchards really get her going.
What do your cats move heaven and Earth for?

Anything I don't buy regularly or in quantities of more than one. Finickity bastards the lot of 'em!

He has Iams dry and Felix pouches nut regularly turns his nose up at these... but absolutely refuses any other type of meat

He also has the highly irritating habit of whining for food when his bowl is FULL with food

He is like the 3rd child

Sainsburys Senior pouches (she is 16, so definitely qualifies!) - no other pouches, senior or not, will do

Ours have always had dried food, they know nothing else. Used to be the cheapy one from Costco but now specialised cos Cat B had a bladder stone. Never had wet food and never will, its bad for their teeth. The vet always comments on our cats' lovely teeth despite them getting on a bit and recommends dried food only.

Wiggle when left with only dried food, my parents' cats went and caught a pigeon and laid it out neatly on top of the dish as if to point out the difference between real food and the rubbish they were being expected to eat - it looked like "pigeon on a coulis of cat food"

Royal Canin Young Neutered Male. Apparently it offers some protection against bladder stones and weight problems...
It's expensive but last a long time and my cat likes it very much - and he does look very nice, I have to say. All sleek, glossy and slender... Shame they don't do any for humans

Lol stealth. . Ours have never known any different so when once given wet food by my friend who was looking after them they completely ignored it. They are also too fat and lazy to chase anything bigger than a spider.

Ours has Royal Canin young female. But we have to buy it from the vet so if we have been disorganised and run out then she has Iams 1+ from the corner shop.
I am hoping that spending a fortune on posh veterinary food will mean saving a fortune on vet's bills in the future...

She won't eat wet food, which is great because I think it smells anyway.

My cat bladder problems and had a couple of ops for it. He is also allergic to fleas and cows milk plus at least one other thing we can't identify. He can't eat wet foods... [nightmare emoticon]

For some reason, best known to themselves, a lot of manufacturers use cows milk in cat food (despite most cats being intolerant at least)so my old man cannot have any of those and, of course, they change the recipies all the time [fed up]

We are now down to just two flavours of Go Cat that he can have without reacting. We have been through every brand and flavour in our pets at home store, everything the vet can offer, everything from the local feed merchant and wound up here, the poor puss has had two flavours of Go Cat for two years now
On the up side he has had no recurrance of the bladder problems, you can buy one of the flavours from most corner shops and I am not paying out a fortune on vet food!

Mine (boys aged 2 & 11) eat bog standard Tesco gravy pouches with a sprinkling of Tesco kitten biscuit (they prefer the milder taste and smaller pieces).

Mine hate the food that comes with jelly and will not eat dry food alone.

Actually one of my cats makes his own arrangements by choice. We just find tails

Tesco dried food with the occasional tesco (or whatever is on offer) pouch which she goes bonkers for. her fave though is chopped fish skins which I always save especially.

She is a feral cat we adopted & lives outside (& in a brick shed at the bottom of the garden.) I'd say at least half of what she eats she catches herself. We had a mouse problem when we adopted her 18 months ago, not anymore!

Ours will munch pretty much any dry food though they love the more boring stuff like Iams, they gobble those. They are picky about wet food but I only give it about twice a week. They hate Felix. They like it when I get the tuna out Although one prefers butter

Mine also eat little tidbits of fish and chicken and have also been known to scoff sweetcorn, peas and baby mush. Cat A's favourite treat is to lick the yoghurt off the pot lid. She also likes biscuit crumbs. They are a weird pair generally.

Science Plan since she was a wee kitten. Lucy is now 14 and going strong! the vet thought she had the teeth of a 7 year old.

Fish,chicken,M&S tuna catfood now and again, and Go Kat crunchies.

I don't buy anything Purina and they loathe Whiskas dry stuff which leaves Iams dry and just about anything wet. They will however mug whichever hapless person is sitting there with pasta or rice pudding or yoghurt.

Pouches (sainsburys or felix) but must be in jelly, she'd rather starve than eat gravy.

Supplemented with senior biscuits (kit cat?)

Treat is sliced ham but she turns her nose up at chicken/fish

She still catches mice but just plays with them and proudly leaves them on the end of my bed to discover.

Have tried iams/science plan and it was roundly rejected.

Oh and he also loves cheese.

Our Tommy will eat anything but wet food gives him a runny tum so he has Science Plan neutered cat and sometimes Iams if we don't get to the vets for more science plan in time.

Thank god we worked out what was making him do horrid smelly poos though!
