Well title sums it up really. Cat was being a bit sick and with diarrhoea on and off for some months and early this year we sought advice from vet. They ran some tests to check for kidney and thyroid problems, and did xray to check for tumours but nothing found. So they suggested it was probably IBS and recommended a prescription only food (Royal Canin Sensitivity Control), which solved all the problems Went and bought another bag of the stuff a few weeks ago and the packaging was different, I thought it was just a different flavour. Ever since she's not eaten properly, and the old symptoms have started coming back. Bad diarrhoea this morning lead me to go back to the vets to ask if we could but some of the first lot we'd had please, only to find out they manufacturer has changed the recipe (and hence the packaging).
So we now have Hills equivalent to try and fingers crossed. Just wanted to get my annoyance off my chest really, and see if anyone has any advice on feline IBS and to warn others.
