complementary therapies for pets?

Just curious as to how popular various of these are, from Reiki to herbal remedies, crystal healing, Ttouch, flower essences - the list could go on and on. Have you used any of these treatments, would you be interested if your vet approved them?

I'm thinking of doing a course that skates over the top of some of the most popular therapies but bit reluctant to fork out for it if the majority of pet owners think it is all bolleaux. Thanks

I use rescue remedy for my cat. He's prone to stress and already on conventional medecine to keep his blood pressure under control. But if there is something particularly disruptive that we have to face (from car journeys to house moves) I add rescue remedy to his water.

I truly believe it helps him, but it doesn't completely cure him of his dysfunctional tendencies.

thanks you two

I have a particular soft spot for animals that are stressy/distressed/have-a-screw-loose!
