We only have a paved yard, and our cat refuses to poo outside. She prefers to hold it and squirt all over our carpets instead.
Mog went mental last night, after Id found another pile of poo outside.

She was hissing at the window last night. Looks like an old Tom has found his way in (best keep her in) and following Tom cats arse was a bloody fox!
We live above a shop on first floor...so fox or hedgehog or and old Tom would be likely.

Do you have any animals? Or in particular, a female unneutered cat?

Dilute Jeyes Fluid, put it in a squirty bottle and then spray over the the place. Works everytime .

I found that good old fashioned mousetraps worked quite well. We never actually caught any cat parts in them, but they would nudge them and they'd snap and scare the cats away for months at a time. Also chili powder works too. You can get big cheap bags of it at your local indian/pakistani store.

Please don't use Jeyes fluid.

Jeyes fluid is toxic to cats.

I have a water pistol that I aim near (but not at) any visiting cat that I see - this has definitely cut down the visits

GentleOtter · 18/11/2008 20:39
