My cat is 15months old and is still small, next doors cats are 3 & are huge compared to her. She was speyed at 7months is that anything to do with it?

my cats continued to grow slightly until they were gone 2- you may just have a dinky little creature. Are next door's cats boys?

Next doors cat are 1 of each, they both eat half the amount my cat eats, she's constantly whinging for food, and before anyone asks, yes she is wormed regularly

cats come in a huge variety of sizes... did you see her mother when you got her? if the mother was small then it's probably just genetic

our female is a dinky little thing too but very healthy and happy.

The mother was small.....and only a year old. My cat is small, has big paws and a huge appetite. I thought she was going to be a big fat tabby, obviously not.

lol. Mine are brother and sister- she's like yours very small and skinny and always looking for food, gobbling it up as soon as the dish gets put down. Her brother is much more dignified, twice the size she is and is a slow eater.

it's the same as with humans if the mother is small then she is more likely to have small offspring.

cats do most of their grwoing in the first 6 months, a bit more up to a year and some grow a little more until they're 2 but usually the size a cat is at 1 year is pretty much the size they'll be for life, especially for females.
