As most of you know, we got our 'Willow mog' 3 weeks ago.

She is 5 months and unsterilised, but she is bringing us great joy...and torment for the kids.

We let her out a couple of days ago, and smeared cream cheese on her paws, but she loved sitting on the wall in the sunshine for a little while.

I've only ever owned boy cats before and the past couple of nights Willow mog has been going nuts at the window. Really howling and clawing at the upvc and wanting to get out.
She's not had her 'mad half hour' tonight either, she's more concerned about whats outside. I mean, she's not meowing like she usually does....she's really howling. (like she's pissed off but she's not...if that makes sense?)
Is she going into season?

i have a tom cat who once spent a whole hour and a half headbutting a locked cat flap determined to get out. i have gave up attempting to keep him now. we should change his name to houdini. all the windows and door closed and he can still find a way out, he actually opens the kitchen window himself.

some cats are indoor cats some are outdoor cats. getting her nuetered should help a bit. now if i could just catch my tom cat long enough to get him the vets...........

She is in heat and is 'calling'. Don't let her out unless you want kittens.

oh shit. opened the front door this morning and the bloody cat shot out.
she hasnt been back since.

going to try and bribe her with her fave biscuits and some cheese.

whats the first sign of pregnancy in a cat? (just in case?)

Think you can get her sterilised even after she has got pregnant if you do it soon. She will propbably be pregnant if she was on heat, though usually I thought they showed other signs like rollign around. She is too young for kittens really.

Yes, most vets will spay her as long the pregnancy's not too advanced.
Good luck!
