good luck ! next doors cat (another wanderer) has got through over 10 collars in the 18months they've had him

We're thinking of getting a kitten. I think DH would prefer one over a dog, but I don't know a thing about cats, so i'm not sure i'm up to the job.

How long did he keep it on?! Did he go bananas when you put it on?

BCLass · 13/06/2008 21:33

I use kitty collars on my cats who occasionally lose them, what seems to be key is that they are not too loose. They should be tighter than you think, should only be able to get one or two (max) fingers underneath it.

I think you should just have a giant magnet fixed to your front door and another implanted under Kitty2's fur, then he won't be able to go anywhere.

Cod, have you read Louise Rennison's Georgia books? (Possibly, not as you have young boys.) Because there's a cool cat in the books by the name of Angus (and not forgetting Naomi-the-Burmese-sex-kitten!). I'm thinking your kitten might be Angus incarnate. Angus is half Scottish wildcat and acts appropriately. The first book is coming out on film this summer - Angus, Thongs and Full Frontal Snogging(!!).
