I used to have a leopard gecko and it was quite easy to look after. Think my tank was 3ft long, maybe less.

It ate crickets and meal worms. Needed the light on all the time and also a heat pad. Think they grow to about 8" long and are easy to handle.

Geckos' are good as are bearded dragons.

I only know prices of my local garden centre.

Lizard is £10 - tank is about £30 (you'll need a at least a 2ft tank) I think the lights etc are gonna be around £20.

Awww only £10?!

Whats that for a gecko?

Yeh the gecko will be £10.

Can I suggest you look at Ebay for all the tank etc. Then speak to RSPCA etc for rehoming one?

My dd is mad about all these reptiles. She has two corn snakes. They're very easy to look after, and won't grow big.
She looks after aleopard gheko from school; i feel sorry for it, as it's always staring through the glass or scrabbling at it as if it wants to escape to the prairies and scutle.
Easy to look after though, they put crickets in the freezer for 5 mins before they feed them to it to slow them down.
And she's a vegetatrian, but happy to feed dead teeny weeny mice to her snakes.

I think they may be a bit more expensive than that though Lucky aren't they?
Maybe just the snakes are, the whole set up, snake, tank, heat pad and lamp was over £100.
Thje ghekkos need heat pad and lamp too.

RSPCA is a great idea, they have loads of great pets to re home. We always go there first.

Hi my son started with a Bearded Dragon, really easy to keep and they have great characters!!! we paid £60 for the vivariaum with the heaters and £40.00 for the lizard. His food is about £4.50 a week. A great first lizard and really easy to handle.Good luck.
